Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant building project experience in Main-contractor environment
• Be able to work independently as well as acquiring good interpersonal skills to coordinate between the various disciplines and consortium partners.
• Must be technically inclined and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous in drawing preparation and documentation
• Experienced with Building / Industrial projects will be a plus.

• Preparing labour and supplier accounts for payment
• Writing reports detailing costs and progress
• Review project budgets and expenditures to ensure they stay within the available budget.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics and Davits.

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have solid working experience with marine crane and deck machinery makers such as:

• MacGREGOR
• IHI
• MITSUBISHI
• LIEBHERR
• TTS MARINE
• TSUJI
• HATLAPA
• PUSNES, NIPPON PUSNES etc.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Min 5 years' experience sailing as Electrical Officer on bulkers equipped with deck cranes and has carried out troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses & other hydraulic systems on board,
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes & hydraulic machinery.
• Able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
• Able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems.
• Able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage and in Ship Yards.
• Able to write technical reports and able to communicate with owners' representatives.
• Previous employment as service engineer with one of the leading deck crane manufacturers will be an added advantage.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) will be an added advantage

The QA/QC Engineer (Engineering) is responsible to review the Engineering Drawings related to Quality inputs for various discipline such as civil, tankage, piping, equipment, steel structures, electrical and instrumentation etc.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the distribution of engineering documents
• Ensure inter-disciplinary check is carried out.
• Ensure IDC comments are adequately incorporated before IFA.
• Monitor status of Technical Query.
• Participate in the review of the Technical Bid Evaluation from vendors.
• Ensure ADNOC comments related to Quality are incorporated prior to issuing the next revision.
• Review Isometric Drawings.
• Review Weld Map.
• Participate in Safety Studies.

Requirements

• Preferably Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Civil).
• Possess Quality Management System (QMS) Lead Assessor (ISO9001).
• Possesses valid certification for welding and inspection personnel (CSWIP) 3.1 or American Welding Society (AWS) certified welding inspector level 2.
• 10 years’ experience with knowledge in welding, painting, engineering coordination.
