Will be involved in organizing and planning a variety of operational tasks, including resource allocation, production, inventory control, and quality assurance. will evaluate procedures and pinpoint opportunities for development, putting plans into action to maximize effectiveness, cut expenses, and boost output. furthermore, operations managers will have significant impact on the management of connections with vendors, suppliers, and other outside stakeholders. In order to promote continous improvement, the operations manager will also be responsible for establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPI's), assessing operational performance, and making data-driven choices.

Specific Responsibilities:

Duration of Traineeship/Attachment Offered - 6 months

• Experienced in the design of water treatment plants (desalination, potable water, recycle water), wastewater treatment plants (municipal and industrial) and membranes systems (MBR, MF/UF, Reverse Osmosis, Nano-Filtration, etc.)

• Review Client’s Requirement, Technical Specifications & Tender Specifications to generate engineering deliverables (General Specification & Particular Specifications, Datasheets, Major Equipment List, Pipe List, Mass Balance, Hydraulic Profiles, Process Flow Diagram, Process & Instrumentation Diagram, etc.)

• Assist the Engineering Manager on engagement with Clients, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Vendors, and others for the development of design, procurement, fabrication, construction, erection and commissioning works.

• Coordinate with inter-disciplines engineering team (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Automation, C&S, Piping & Systems/Skids Engineering and Drafting) on development of engineering deliverable on a timely basis.

• Reviewing and providing input to project schedule and ensure all planned dates and progress are realistic. Provide updates on engineering deliverables per schedules and implement catch-up actions where applicable.

• Procurement Services Support: Develop the applicable Equipment List/Package, Technical Specifications and Bill of Materials to support Procurement Department to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ). Assist to review the RFQ, prepare applicable technical & commercial clarifications with selected Sub-Contractors or Suppliers. Provide justification on the shortlisted Sub-Contractors or Suppliers for onward negotiations.

• Assist the Engineering Manager on the development of FAT, SAT, Pre-Commissioning, Start-up, Commissioning protocol and support the implementation.

• Development of Operational & Maintenance Manual.

• Assist the Engineering Manager to support project management team in project implementation related engineering, troubleshooting and maintenance requirement.
