1. Responsible in executing directives as set forth for the Quality Assurance Department in meeting management objectives.

Competence Requirement

MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING

• To further enhance Manufacturing Engineer capability in Engineering
• Oversee the Manufacturing Engineering activity in Engine Overhaul/Component Repair production areas. Act as Technical Authority, assuring the initial and continuing capability of the Production method to produce conforming product and ensuring the resolution of technical issues/problems/arisings to meet business and customer requirements for safety, cost, delivery rate and leadtime (SQCD). Support integration on all Manufacturing Engineering activities across the product lifecycle and through the supply chain.

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for providing directives for the Quality Assurance Department in meeting management objectives.
2. Formulate, implement and evaluate quality strategies programs for the company.
3. Implement and maintain a system of auditing the facility and periodic calibration of test, measuring equipment and tools.

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a crucial role in business by ensuring that products meet certain standards of quality. He/She plans, directs or coordinates quality assurance programs and formulate quality control policies. He/She also works to improve an organisation's efficiency and profitability by reducing waste. SCOPE

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Audio Visual & Engineering Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all AV equipment. The incumbent is responsible to set-up, operate and troubleshoot the AV equipment, devices and systems and to ensure that the equipment is fully operational as and when needed. He/She is required to perform shift duties and other duties as may be arranged by the Director of Engineering or designate. The incumbent will also assist and guide guests and customers on the proper usage of the equipment.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Assist in providing technical support and setup of AV equipment to guests and colleagues.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, upkeep, set-up, and operate all AV equipment, projection equipment and other devices.
• Ensure that hotel guest room TV channels and transmission systems are up-to-date and is operational at all times
• Assist in the repair and installation of all electrical works in guestrooms and hotel premises
• To ensure all work requests are properly logged and executed and updated at the end of each shift duties.

· Responsible for hardware and software setup assisting with installation / deployment of laptops, printer and other IT equipment including resolve issues encountered by users.

· Point of contact between IT Departments of the company and the Business Divisions
