• Mentoring junior researchers and student interns. Leading in designing and carrying out scientific experiments and communicating findings to teammates.
• Develop novel tools in metabolic engineering, pathway engineering and synthetic biology.
• Use developed tools to design novel pathways and/or improve existing pathways and strains for production of value-added chemicals.
• Presenting results in lab meeting and to industrial collaborators
• Publish peer-reviewed papers and patents
• Data analysis and prepare written and oral reports
• Ability to work effectively in a large, multidisciplinary team of engineers, and biologists. Contribute to the general scientific discussions.
• Mentoring junior researchers and student interns.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in chemical engineering, bioengineering and biochemistry.
• Strong research background in metabolic engineering and synthetic biology
• Proficiency in genomic editing, bioprocess engineering and fermentation
