Capital Markets IT (CMI) is the IT department within the bank focused on solutions related to Capital Markets. You should be able to comprehend clients’ URS, and design with concept design, schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layout, the scope of work, specifications, and functional descriptions. The experience in designing Gas systems will be definite added advantage.

Your familiarity with the Semi standards and both Singapore and Malaysia standards, manufacturing tools, materials, and CAD/ BIM will be an added advantage. You should be able to make presentations to clients and engineers on design, tendering, project execution, supervising progress, and quality of work.

• CAD Modeling: Work with detailed 3D models and assemblies using industry-standard CAD software to design robotic components and systems.
• Mechanical Design: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop mechanical designs that meet project requirements, including structural integrity, functionality, and manufacturability.

Duties to Be Performed:

We are looking for a Project Manager – Process Systems Specialist in the either or all of the following systems,

- Gas / Environmental / Ultra Pure Water / Chemical Systems.

The prospective candidate will be responsible for the following,

- Responsible for Concept and Detailed Design for Process Facility systems for the entire course of the project (Conceptual Design, Detailed Engineering calculations, System & Component sizing, Budgeting, Drawing development coordination from Engineering up to Construction stage e.g. PIDs / layouts / sections).

- Capable in interdisciplinary understanding and managing of relevant interfaces.

- Detailed understanding of all technical standards, drawing formats and symbols.

- Tendering process (e.g. Technical and Commercial bid evaluation).

- Time and schedule management.

- Check and review engineering document and drawings for accuracy and completeness for submission and shop fabrication (e.g. Submittal Procedure).

- Lead system design and reviews with customers and ensure customer sign off and approval.

- Review of all the bench mark data, scope and design change and contract variation aspects.

- Ensure Project Director/ Manager is kept aware of the process engineering design and construction progress and any cost and schedule impacts.

- Coordinate installations with sub-contractors on site.

- Support CSA & M&E team for the design including CAD team and project effectively & efficiently.

- Involved in the Commissioning of Systems and develop the documentation with the sub-contractors.

- Consolidate and upkeep of in-house engineering Standards.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design process for solar power projects, from conceptualization to implementation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, professional engineers, LEWs, electrical engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of solar energy projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing solar system designs and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

• Contribute to the design and engineering review process for EPCs’ master document list submission, including system sizing, layout optimization, solar structural design and balance of system engineering.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external EPCs to integrate solar PV systems with existing infrastructure and building designs, including system components to suit site condition and in accordance to solar engineering standards (IEC, local standards, etc).
• Design and develop electrical single-line diagram, panel schedules and connection diagram for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Complete all electrical calculations in detail related to the project (DC and AC).
• Review PVSyst reports and PR calculations.
• Assist in getting endorsements from Professional Engineers and LEWs for the related engineering calculation, analysis documents and drawings.
• Provide technical support to Project Manager and Engineer during design review, installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in solar energy and construction industries, and integrate them into project designs.
• Play the role of document controller for the master document list and keep track of its transmittal.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in the design and engineering of solar power systems, preferably in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of solar PV technologies, components, and system configurations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, grid integration, and power distribution principles.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Singapore.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will lead a team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing System Engineers to develop and implement foundational capabilities (Lean, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Garment Engineering) and Advanced capabilities (Automation & Digitization) across Nike’s APAC supplier base. This role will report to a Senior Director, Innovation & Manufacturing Engineering based in Singapore.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Must have 8-10 years of pertinent experience in Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, encompassing Shopfloor Automation, Robotics, Tooling Engineering, Design for Manufacturing, Digital Technologies, Garment Engineering, and related areas.
• Proficiency in General Sewing Data and background in factory capacity planning & management.
• Proven track record of driving large-scale transformations, including Digital Transformation and factory automation initiatives.
• Experience leading organization-wide initiatives with multi-stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity and experience deploying Continuous Improvement Methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is highly desirable.
• Ability to envision the future, develop strategies and roadmaps to realize that vision, establish partnerships, and implement solutions.
