Description

You will be part of the server team that powers customer-facing features within the Apple client applications - Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple TV, App Store, Apple Arcade, Fitness+ etc. Working multi-functionally with various teams across Apple to deliver some really exciting features to our customers. Thinking about web service performance is a constant thing for us, and we are searching for someone like-minded. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• At least 2 years professional software engineering
• Proficiency in JVM languages like Java, Scala, Clojure or other object oriented programming languages such as C++, GoLang, C# and etc.
• Deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs or other API technologies
• Advanced skill set in object-oriented design, complex data structures, and algorithms.
• Multiple years of experience developing and scaling high-availability, low-latency distributed systems
• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Expertise in writing robust unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with NoSQL technologies, including but not limited to Solr/Lucene, Redis, Memcached, Cassandra, and Voldemort

• Assisting in setting up the test equipment for production and engineering team.
• Handle all Test & Backend Equipment sustaining i.e. Bench, ATE, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS, Laser Mark, etc.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Biomedical, Mechatronics
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Able to work from 7am - 7pm

- Station on-site and perform daily inspection and preventive maintenance works in Mechanical and Electrical Systems according to Scheduled Maintenance

- Attend to feedback, Breakdown and customer service requests

- Supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors on works according to scheduled maintenance, repair, shut-down and overhaul works
