We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk/Operations Administrator to join our team. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining data in our systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting various departments with administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry: Input data from various sources into databases, spreadsheets, and other digital platforms.
   Verify and review data for accuracy and completeness, making necessary corrections.

2. Data Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain existing data records to reflect changes, additions, or deletions.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary diploma or equivalent (Students welcome to apply). Additional education in data entry or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role.
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word).

Work Schedule:

Job Description

Genetic engineering of plants promises to provide sustainable solutions for food security and climate change mitigation. Current genetic engineering technologies using Agrobacterium, viruses and nanoparticles through syringe injection and biolistic bombardment suffer from limitations including narrow ranges of host species, low transformation efficiencies, strict restrictions on cargo types and sizes, tissue damage and unwanted transgene integration into plant genome. A major challenge to deliver exogenous material into plants is the cell wall barrier. The Tay lab will be hiring a research fellow to develop nanomaterials for plant genetic engineering, with the goal to produce plants with enhanced traits such as higher yield and weather-resistant.

Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with above 5 years working experience. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in automated testing for web applications using tools like Selenium or Playwright. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT/web applications by designing and implementing automated tests that improve efficiency and maintain high standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium, Playwright, or other relevant automation tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement test cases, scenarios, and strategies for new features and enhancements.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and libraries.
• Execute automated tests and identify, report, and track defects through to resolution.
• Monitor and maintain the test environments and ensure test data is properly set up.
• Continuously analyze and improve existing test automation processes and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, identify potential improvements, and help maintain best practices within the QA process.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and communicate issues clearly and effectively to developers and product owners.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in test automation best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (X+ years) in automated testing of web applications.
• Strong experience using Selenium, Playwright, or similar web automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript for writing automated test scripts.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated test execution.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a keen eye for identifying issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization for test environment setup.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Opportunity.

We are looking to grow our team with an experienced and motivated Engagement Manager. As an Engagement Manager you would be responsible for the overall success of client engagements from presales through to delivery phase, including commercial aspects, opportunistic cross- and up-selling, project steering and client satisfaction on project sponsor level.

The role.

• Work closely with the business development function to win new business and are responsible for working with the team in defining the right solution, scope/SOW definition, cost estimation and project planning of our proposals.
• Financial accountability for the engagement/project. You ensure that projects meet their planned budgets and remain profitable while delivering the expected value and solve the client’s true business needs.
• You maintain our Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool for your engagements to ensure accurate data and high process compliance achievement.
• Become a trusted advisor for the senior client stakeholders, represent Zuhlke on steering committees and identify potential new business opportunities.
• For some engagements you will also be responsible for the account strategy and managing the buying centre of an account
• Seek, prepare and negotiate contract extensions and continuations
