Position Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Not required
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of practical experience as a carpenter, demonstrating expertise in carpentry and woodwork projects

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and installing materials to meet project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Work with a variety of hand tools and power tools to create precise structures and finishes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines

As a full stack engineer within the team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, reviewing and testing a variety of scalable applications leveraging the latest firm wide technologies. You will be expected to implement and suggest best development practices/methodologies to deliver high quality software throughout the development stack. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• You will work within the global team to support both regional and global deliveries.
• You are flexible and will be able to seamlessly transition between different aspects of the technical stack.
• You have effective problem-solving coupled with strong analytical and technical skills.
• You will develop integrated scalable solutions across components utilizing micro-services, REST frameworks, APIs, ETL (extract, transform, load) frameworks.
• You will work to enhance our report offering, by improving delivery SLAs and building out additional features as requested by clients.
• You will undertake development across all tiers of our business-facing systems within a global team (NY, LDN, Bengaluru, SLC). You will be expected to implement and suggest best development practices/methodologies to deliver high quality software throughout the development stack.
• Build close working relationships with Business users covering, Middle & Back Office Operations, Product Development Teams, Markets and Clients

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 1-3 years of Core Java development experience (Solid understanding of Core Java concepts and Design Patterns).
• Similar expertise with equivalent object-oriented languages also considered (e.g. C/ C++/C#).
• Preferable to have experience in shell scripting.
• RDBMS experience (Sybase or DB2 preferred - able to write and analyze complex queries with multi-table joins and aggregate functions)
• Desire to build strong and efficient SDLC practices.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with a hands-on experience of debugging and optimizing code, as well as automation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and drive. Excellent communication skills required, able to contribute to discussions on design and strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript applications.
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS2.
• Familiarity with build/deployment/runtime tools e.g. Gradle, Maven, Git, Spring, Kubernetes, Cloud
• Familiarity with building and running resilient and scalable systems
• Technical Skills - Demonstrates strong technical skills required for the role, pays attention to detail, takes initiative to broaden their knowledge and demonstrates appropriate technical/analytical skills.
• Drive and Motivation - Successfully handles multiple tasks, takes initiative to improve their own performance, works intensely towards extremely challenging goals and persists in the face of obstacles or setbacks.

Responsibility & Scope of works:

• Manage, supervise and co-ordinate small projects, electrical installation turn-on inspection & licensing inspection undertaken by the Company and works assigned to you by the Project Manager.
• Participate in company tender exercise and quotation.
• Assist in price negotiation, drawings preparation and related activities.
• Ensure timely requisition of resources such as labour, materials, equipment for the small project works - power upgrading, tenancy renovation works, A&A works, etc.
• To issue site purchase order - purchasing material for electrical installation works.
• Inspection & Testing of the electrical safety of electrical installation in commercial and retail, healthcare, industrial building in compliance with Code of Practices.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Power/Electronics Engineering
• Good communication skills, team player, independent, strong leadership and self-motivated
• Knowledge in Electrical Installation (EI)
• At least 2-3 years working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Operations Manager on project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and client’s expectations;
• Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet targets;
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors, such as consultants and sub-contractors or suppliers for the flawless execution of the project;
• Ensure project to be delivered on time, within scope and budget;
• Ensure project to be executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulations;
• Develop detailed planning to monitor and tract progress;
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
• Responsible for all construction site matters including and not limited safety and other compliance matters;
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Engineering or Construction related field with Building Construction Safety Supervisor or equivalent trained
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in project management under Construction sector
• Ability to multi-task, an eye for details and perform under tight timeline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent team player
