Overall Job Objectives
· Assist the Project Manager (PM):
- Help supervise construction activities to ensure smooth progress.
- Develop and implement work schedules according to the master and detailed construction plans.
· Cost and Labour Control:
- Manage project costs and labour allocation to ensure efficiency and budget compliance.
- Optimize resource usage to improve productivity.
· Progress and Issue Tracking:
- Monitor construction progress to ensure timely completion of each stage.
- Identify and address potential issues promptly.
· Regular Reporting:
- Provide monthly updates to the General Manager (GM) on progress, costs, and labour management.
· Coordination and Compliance:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless construction execution.
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities
1. Study and review structural drawings, coordinate structural work with consultants and project team to resolve any technical/site issues/discrepancies
2. Preparing and execute the progress plan
3. Attend site daily coordination meeting and inspections
4. Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met
5. Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed
6. Because the work needs. Be able to take turns on night shifts, Saturday and even Sunday shifts.
7. Prepare site manpower, materials and productivity reports, and attend PM meetings on the second Sunday of each month, reporting to company management.
Job Specifications
1. Degree in Engineering or related disciplines
2. Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings
3. Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
4. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
