Job Description & RequirementsResponsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of projects or functions, including budget development and monitoring, and coordinating activities with subcontractors.
• Plan work schedules and effectively organize site facilities to meet established deadlines.
• Collaborate with consultants and/or subcontractors involved in the project.
• Attend regular meetings with owners, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project progress aligns with the schedule.
• Address and resolve any unexpected technical challenges or issues that arise during the project.
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to specified requirements.
• Identify and comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements for the project.
• Assess potential risks to the project and stakeholders, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
• Respond quickly to delays, emergencies, and other challenges as they occur.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with external parties, including clients, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, regarding project needs, requirements, and timelines through daily construction oversight.
• Review method statements for activities, ensuring safe execution and optimal use of resources for job efficiency.
• Prepare monthly site reports to update on progress and outline plans to achieve project milestones.
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Project Manager and Project Director.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 10 years of engineering experience in the relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Ground Support & Stabilisation Works construction projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature.
• Proven experience as a team leader, guiding teams toward project goals and targets.
• Strong ability to identify potential project risks and take proactive measures to manage them.
