• Troubleshooting and Fault Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot issues in both electrical and mechanical systems, using specialized tools to analyze and repair problems related to wiring, circuit boards, and mechanical components.
• Blueprint and Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure proper system installation and repairs.
• Safety Standards Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and mechanical standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Performance Testing and Calibration: Conduct performance testing and calibration of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure they meet the required specifications and function efficiently.
• Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other construction teams to ensure the proper design, installation, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Night Shift and After-Hours Support: Be available for night shifts or after-hours work to perform emergency repairs, conduct routine system checks, or ensure that critical systems are operational when needed.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of equipment, following scheduled maintenance programs.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations carried out. Report any issues or progress to the management team, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lifting Supervisor to oversee and manage lifting operations for Power Plant and Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely, in compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning & Coordination:

- Plan and coordinate lifting operations, including selecting appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.

- Assess the load, rigging methods, and environmental conditions to ensure safe lifting procedures.

2. Safety Management:

- Supervise all lifting activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and MOM regulations.

- Conduct pre-lift safety checks, toolbox talks, and risk assessments before commencing operations.

3. Operational Supervision:

- Guide and oversee riggers, signalmen, and equipment operators during lifting operations.

- Ensure proper rigging, sling configurations, and load securing for all lifts.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

- Verify and ensure compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines.

- Maintain accurate records of lifting plans, permits, and inspection reports.

5. Incident Management:

- Address and resolve any safety concerns or operational issues on-site.

- Report and document any incidents, near-misses, or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
