Resident Engineer (RE-C&S)

a. Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 2 years shall be in supervision of works in projects similar in size and complexity; in particular segmental construction in bridge/viaduct construction;

b. Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;

c. Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore;

• Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the company's QAQC requirement
• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections
• Lead project teams in the preparation of project specific CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with specific contract requirements
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards

The proposed personnel shall have minimum three (3) years of experience in the supervision of works similar in nature to the Works in the Civil Contract.

The proposed personnel shall have a diploma in the civil/structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent and shall be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS and/or registered under Structural Steel Singapore Society as a Registered Steelwork Supervisor.

The QSS shall meet the required minimum hours of work per month (Base Monthly Work Hours) which shall be computed based on the normal working hours for the week (forty-seven (47) hours a week).

• Supervision and check all architectural works and coordinate with engineers, archi-coordinators, sub-cons and inspection with RTOs
• Supervise and inspect all Architectural works to ensure quality of work
• To monitor and ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approved drawing/specification and complete within schedule time
• Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of time and resources for building construction projects
• Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters
• To ensure works carried out meet company’s quality standards & contractual requirements
