Responsibilities:

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Responsible for general on site technical and engineering matters
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Consultants, Client and other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
• checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• maintaining quality control procedures
• Overall projects planning, schedulling, monitoring and updating to meet targets.
• Ensuring & assessing site safety to minimizing risk
• Other adhoc assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Secondary School or above qualifications such as Diploma, Advance Diploma in Engineer / Building
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably candidate specialized in Electrical Engineering
• Teamwork and good interpersonal skills.
• Will be based at Tuas Site
• Salary will commensurate with experience.

• Team Management Skill and Conduct Safety briefing
• Ensure Timely Progression of daily schedule
• Comply to all safe work practice and code of conduct
• Experience in site coordination and leadership
• Required to had Supervise Construction Work for WSH certificate
• Knowledge and Experience in handling of Welding equipment preferrable
• At least Class 4 Driving License with relevant Driving Experience
• Deliver of Materials to Construction Sites and other location
• Transport workers between designated location, including dormitory
• Transport foods between designated location, including dormitory
• Ability to handle at least 25kg repeatedly during work
• Ability to read, write and speak in English and Tamil
• Must be able to work on both Saturday and Sunday when requested
• Adhering to Company, Client in-house rules and traffic regulation
• Report to immediate superior to update
• Mostly work around Tuas South

• Verify that procedures are current and consistently implemented.
• Aid the Strategic Sales team by contributing to First Article submissions, including the creation of technical drawings using Solid Edge.
• Maintain completeness, currency, and organized storage of all project documents, such as drawings, MSDS, and FAI.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Participate in customer and supplier audits.
• Furnish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analytical reports to management in the realm of Quality.
• Assist in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 surveillance audits and recertification processes.

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor Degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Well-versed in Solid Edge or other CAD drawing tools
• Well-versed in QMS system (ISO 9001) and Environment Management System (ISO 14001)
• Experience in internal and external auditing will be preferred

• Preferable with minimum 2-4 years of working experience in Industrial Plant such as Semiconductor / Pharmaceutical
• Possess relevant safety certificates is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and able to travel based on the project site. (Class 3 Driving License would be required)
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office and AutoCad competency
