We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisorwith a minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing mechanical projects in Power Plant and Oil & Gas industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Supervision:
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical work activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage and lead a team of mechanical fitters, technicians, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
2. Installation & Maintenance:
- Oversee the installation, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors, and piping systems.
- Review and verify technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accuracy during execution.
3. Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and MOM regulations on-site.
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and risk assessments for all team members.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
5. Team Management:
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
- Evaluate team performance and recommend improvements or additional training as needed.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, manpower records, and inspection checklists.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve concerns.
