JOB PURPOSE

Perform the finite element modeling and structural analysis of various steel and concrete structures

Create system and equipment designs that meet our customer contractual requirements and location specific codes and standards including, but not limited to ASME/ANSI, IBC, UBC, CSA, European Union Directives

Adhere to industry codes and standards department practices and procedures

Provide Engineering input to drafting team members to support creation of design drawings, bills of material (“BOM”s) and other design documentation

Review and approve completed design drawings and BOMs prior to issuance

Lead internal and supplier design reviews

Apply lean 6-sigma tools and methods to achieve cost effective, balanced designs

Perform mechanical, structural, or civil analysis as necessary to support new designs or improvements to existing designs

Drive effective solutions for emergent issues, with appropriate sense of urgency

Ensure timely completion of engineering activities within schedule objectives that meet internal and customer needs

Create new designs that meet safety, reliability, performance, maintainability, and cost objectives

Provide engineering inputs and solutions during all phases of design development and project implementation

Provide ad-hoc expertise during project execution to mitigate risks and generate opportunities

Initiate and or participate to Interface, co- engineering Meetings, design freeze sessions with other Team Members

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering coupled with at least five years' experience within a consulting environment

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Resident Engineer (RE-C&S)

a. Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 2 years shall be in supervision of works in projects similar in size and complexity; in particular segmental construction in bridge/viaduct construction;

b. Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;

c. Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore;

d. He must possess good leadership qualities, organisational and inter-personal skills;

e. Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report;

f. Possess strong supervision and leadership skills;

g. Must be willing to work shifts.

Quantity Surveyor

• Study and analyse tender documents

• Assist in measurements and Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-off, when required.

• Responsible for contract documentation.

• Responsible for handling running project

• Ensure timely and completeness of taking off

• Submit return to relevant authority

• Assist to prepare project budget including monitoring on regular basis

• Prepare all project related documents when necessary

• Assist in Preparation and follow up monthly progress claims in timely manners

Project Admin

• Create and coordination of purchase orders from project sites and vendors using ERP System

• Doing price comparison of material, products, services, pricing, delivery and payment terms.

• Follow up with supplier for the delivery schedule to ensure on time delivery to project site without any delay.

• Sourcing for new supplier

• Provide general administrative support to QS/Cost Control Department.

• Responsible for administering and managing all incoming and outgoing documents. Especially for issuing Purchase/works orders.

• Assist in project costing and process invoices to finance department.

• Ensure database is up to date and accurate (PO/DO/Invoices)

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience as Electrical QS (Tender of Project) for the M&E Sector.
