· Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems and working with various types of pipes, such as steel, copper, plastic, or other alloys. They build pipe systems that transport hot or cold water, fuel, steam, and industrial chemicals and gases.
· Manage projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and assigning tasks to their crews. And ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Responsible for the safety of their crew and the work environment. Ensure that work is done in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure that piping systems are installed correctly and are functioning properly. Having good knowledge to resolve any quality issues that arise.
· Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and engineers, to ensure that everyone is working together effectively.
· Maintain accurate records of piping activities, including work hours, materials used, and progress reports.
· Supervisors shall train and mentor piping personnel to help them improve their skills and performance.
· Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Stay up to date on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices.
