As a WSH Supervisor, you will assist the WSH Coordinator in the daily operation of executing the company’s safety regulations and practices in the workplaces.

Responsibilities

1) Execute Permit-to-work system according to WSH construction regulations.

2) Assist in accident / incident reporting and investigations.

3) Coordinate and maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.

4) Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.

5) Attend to all feedback on safety irregularities and inform the WSH Officer accordingly.

6) Ensure all safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations.

7) Ensure all parties at work are following the safe work procedures compliance.

Requirements

1) At least a GCE O Level / SPM.

2) Must possess at least a WSQ Supervise Construction Work for WSH.

3) At least 1 years of working experience in construction industry.

4) A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.

5) Able to write and speak in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese Client and workers.

6) Basic computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

7) Physically Fit, healthy, hardworking and can work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work
• To supervise & ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings & specifications
• Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carred out safely accordingly to the works programme and produce short term work plans
• To monitor the installation progress as well as coordination with Client, Consultants & vendors to ensure efficient & timely delivery of assignment
• Prepare & submit site progress reports & other necessary project documentation
• Assist in the preparation of progress payment claims & variation orders where required
• Monitor, control and coordinate site works with the operations team as well as the contractors
• Attend safety, technical & daily site progress meetings
• Ensure that all corrective action or preventive action is implemented effectively and quality records are properly maintained
• Conduct site inspection with relevant parties to resolve technical/site issues
• Ensure timely handover of project
• Other project-related tasks as deemed necessary

Requirements :-

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min.4 years of working experience in construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of project management principles
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Oversall planning for construction projects.
• Close supervision, Management and execution of construction works at site, including monitoring work progress and quality.
• Involved in preplanning and value-engineering and sequence planning.
• Supervise and manage contractors and laborers at construction sites.
• Meet with architects, specialized trade employees, and civil engineers on projects or upcoming builds.
• Address emergencies, work delays, or other problems that affect the construction project.
• Manage the project cost, cash flow, claim in order to complete the project within the project budget and profit margin.
• Responsible for all the site implementation and completion towards management target, client’s expectation and compliance to authorities’ regulations.
• Responsible for the project quality and safety plan.
• Ensure company ISO and OHSAS requirements are fully implemented on project.
• Coordinating with authorities, clients, consultants and subcontractors on all project aspects.
• Ensure proper documentation and records of site works are carried out.

Requirement

• Diploma / Degree holder.
• At least 20 years experiences in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects in the water reclamation, oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, oil storage, and jack-up oil rigs industries in Singapore.
• Familiar with SG process plant industrial.
• Well verse with Singapore construction regulation.
