Job Responsiblities

• Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, conveyors, and heat exchangers.
• Diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs or replacements of piping systems, including installation, inspection, and leak detection.
• Maintenance and calibration of instruments used to monitor and control process parameters, such as pressure, temperature, and flow rate.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper alignment, connections, and functionality.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to identify potential problems. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including work orders, parts used, and repair details.
• Assist in training other technicians or apprentices.
• Managing the inventory of spare parts and tools.

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.

• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).

• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.

• Assess potential risks, materials and costs.

• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.

• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.

• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.

• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.

• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.

• Working with a team of fellow engineers and construction crews to organize and complete projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support for daily operational issues.
• Perform inspections of welding, structural fabrication, and piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Review piping isometric drawings and verify that materials meet specifications.
• Coordinate and oversee NDT activities, including radiographic testing (RT), and ensure accurate results through proper witnessing and review.
• Conduct thorough inspections and assessments during plant shutdowns, documenting findings and reporting discrepancies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, reports, and certifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure design specifications are met.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant inspections or related fields, especially during shutdowns.
• Valid certification in at least one API area (API 510, API 570, or API 653).
• Knowledge and experience in welding inspection, structural fabrication, and piping materials.
• Proficient in MS Office and CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM).
• Experience with non-destructive testing methods (UT, PT, MT, VT) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

RESPONSIBILITY
· Plan and allocate tools, material and manpower for fabrication;
· Ensure that all the technical reviews by engineering team comply with project requirements;
· Coordinate all technical queries with related parties – engineering team, client, vendor etc;
· Assist Project Manager in streamlining work processes;
· Coordinator with team to review all subcontract and supplier shop drawing, product data, samples,
manuals etc for all compliance with contract documents;
· Manage vendor documents for all equipment;
· Monitor and ensure all the vendor equipment delivery are on time, including checks on inspection status and requirement;
· Prepare tender submission, cost estimation and project change request;

*Prepare monthly P&L reporting.

*Able to use AutoCAD – Advance Steel Software.
· Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent

· Proficient in design software such as PV AutoCAD

· Proficiency in English language (spoken and written) with strong communication skills
