1. Responsible for providing directives for the Quality Assurance Department in meeting management objectives.
2. Formulate, implement and evaluate quality strategies programs for the company.
3. Implement and maintain a system of auditing the facility and periodic calibration of test, measuring equipment and tools.

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a crucial role in business by ensuring that products meet certain standards of quality. He/She plans, directs or coordinates quality assurance programs and formulate quality control policies. He/She also works to improve an organisation's efficiency and profitability by reducing waste. 1. Coordinate, administration and issuing of engineering documents.

a. Process and issuing of ORF based on the requirement of Parts / Products Manufacturing Specification (PMS) - TERRA.

b. Convert the ORF into electronic copies

c. Periodic review of all engineering documents issued and the status of implementation for the purpose of traceability.

*Provide Engineering base management analysis such as Failure Mode Evaluation Analysis, FMEA, (Potential Failure Mode Analysis) on all cost factors at the time of prototype stage to Product Production, so as to ensure that new product’s Factory Cost (FC) are competitive in the market.

1. Administration and collaborate Prototype making and controls.

a. Coordinate the Prototype making by supporting on all the Engineering aspect.

b. Provide in sourcing of new parts as per prototype requirement.

c. Execute Supplier / Vendor audits and verification for the decision of selecting suppliers / vendors.

d. Verify material lists, drawings before providing to suppliers / vendors for quotation.

e. Made plans, schedules and information sharing to all related department so as to ensure that prototype is made on time.

f. Conduct periodic reviews of all prototype making so as to ensure systematic approaches had been made based QDC.

g. Provide solution for any prototypes that required to be mass production so as to keep the prototype cost competitive at all time.

PROGRAMME

TRAINING

• Classroom lectures at Training Academy inclusive of SAR 66 basic course modules and other associated skills and aircraft systems training with examinations/assessments after each module
• Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) examinations applicable for the category of licence
• On-the-job (practical) training at base and line maintenance environment, as well as other applicable workshops

OBLIGATIONS

• Trainees are required to serve employment of 5 years in the Company upon the completion of training
• If a trainee does not complete the training successfully or does not serve a minimum employment period of 5 years, trainee will have to pay for training costs of up to $115,000 (liquidated damages)
