Job Requirements

• Minimum BCA-recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture/Building or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management in a Singapore construction and Fit-Out Project
• Possess relevant construction safety certificates (CSCPM, BCSS, etc).
• Possess analytical mindset, independent, self-starter, positive working attitude, takes ownership and a highly responsible individual.
• Resourceful problem solver.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Able to lead the project team.
• Well-versed in AutoCAD.
• Able to communicate well in English.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent will be an added advantage.

- Organise mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment

- Organise and deployment of workers

- Monitor the site activities and project supervision

- Prepare weekly and monthly progression reports

- Manage material requisition and cost control

- Keep proper documentation of all work-related matters

- Update detailed daily site reports and records of completed activities

- Attend daily site meetings

- Understand AUTO CAD or BIM

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our workplace complies with safety regulations and maintains a culture of safety and health across all operations.

Job Responsibilities:

As the WSH Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that the workplace adheres to local safety regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards. Stay up to date with changes in relevant legislation and regulations.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace. Implement appropriate control measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
• Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver safety training programs to staff, contractors, and visitors. Foster a safety-first culture by promoting safety awareness across the organization.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of workplace accidents, near-misses, and safety violations. Prepare incident reports and work with management to implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Safety Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and walkthroughs to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Emergency Preparedness: Ensure emergency response plans are in place and regularly updated. Coordinate fire drills, first aid training, and other safety exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations.
• Safety Reporting: Maintain records of safety incidents, inspections, audits, and safety training. Prepare regular safety performance reports for management.
• Liaison & Coordination: Act as the key point of contact for safety-related concerns. Work closely with external safety auditors, regulatory agencies, and contractors to ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Educational Qualifications:Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as WSH Officer, NEBOSH, or equivalent, would be an advantage.
  
• Experience:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a WSH coordination role, preferably within construction, manufacturing, or a similar high-risk industry.
  Strong knowledge of local Workplace Safety and Health regulations and industry best practices.
  
• Skills & Abilities:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and safety reporting tools.

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager (ACMV) is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) projects from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating resources, managing schedules, and ensuring quality control while ensuring compliance with safety standards, client requirements, and industry regulations. The Project Manager will be the key point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

1. Project Planning & Coordination:

• Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to review project specifications, ensuring clarity on ACMV requirements.
• Identify key project milestones and critical paths, and develop strategies to mitigate potential delays or issues.
• Establish clear communication channels with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

2. Project Execution & Monitoring:

• Lead and manage the project team, ensuring effective collaboration between various stakeholders including contractors, engineers, and suppliers.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
• Monitor the progress of ACMV system installations, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Providing guidance and resolving issues promptly.

3. Budget & Cost Management:

• Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
• Approve and track all expenditures related to the project, ensuring that costs are controlled and any deviations from budget are documented and addressed.
• Review and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and safety.

4. Risk Management & Issue Resolution:

• Identify potential risks related to project timelines, resources, budget, and safety, and develop mitigation plans.
• Address issues and challenges in real-time, ensuring that project objectives are not compromised.
• Coordinate with safety officers to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards during project execution.

5. Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure that all ACMV installations are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, including local building codes and environmental guidelines.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of ACMV systems to ensure that they meet the performance and operational requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and audits throughout the project to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards.

6. Client Liaison & Stakeholder Management:

• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
• Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing ACMV projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of ACMV systems, design, installation, and commissioning processes.
• Experience working in construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects, or building services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to ACMV systems.
