Purpose and Scope:

The AVP/Senior Principal C&S Engineer plays a pivotal role as a Project Lead to a project; the PE is responsible for the design and supervisory work, and any combination of Civil & Structural engineering work. • Degree in C&S Engineering accredited by Professional Engineer Board, Singapore.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry, preferably in consultancy firm

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

The project will also explore novel synthetic methods for conversion of the building blocks into end-use functional molecules. Novel synthesis technologies (photoelectrochemistry, sonochemistry, mechanochemistry, etc), as well as advanced research methods (AI, chemoinformatics, high-throughput synthesis) and process metrics (LCA and technoeconomic analysis) are included in this large project.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to fill a vacancy of a Research Fellow or a Senior Research Fellow. The successful candidate would have a PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a strong interest in Process Systems Engineering and Machine Learning (AI) for Chemical Engineering. The ideal candidate would have experience in developing first principle process models in Matlab/gPROMS or Python, process optimization, machine learning for chemical processes.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for driving customer satisfaction through focus on accountability and quality.

· Be the point of contact for customer to all issues.

· Drives global meetings of project on behalf of customer to assure the success of project.

· Continuous tracking of project performance and schedules of internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.

· Validate project workscope, ensure up to date technical scope of work.

· Assure compliance to contract commitments and ensure turnkey design within scope of work.

· Identify out of scope work to sales and initiate CIP to sales if necessary.

· Assure proper coordination between internal departments (all technical project lead) and project stakeholder for technical integration with a project execution plan.

· Coordinate with all project stakeholders and customer to align towards common objectives and goals of the program.

· Integrate stakeholders’ timeline and develop a detail plan with key activities (timeline) into an overall project schedule and ensure all team member, suppliers and customer are fully acceptable to it.

· Understands intermediate regulatory certification requirements and provide recommendation to customer for meeting regulatory certification requirements in the turnkey packages per workscope.

· Create and manage project budgeted resources (hours and hard cost), cost recording, control and forecasting.

· Identifying risk and create risk management analysis with means of stop light chart, etc and present to management during weekly project review meeting.

· Implement and improve good Project Management Tools for effective usage.

· Continuous maintaining the relevance of Project Management Processes & Procedures.

· Overseas travel will be required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

· Qualified degree or Masters in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering.

· At least 4-5 years experience in aircraft interior reconfiguration engineering.

· Knowledgeable of aircraft and interior reconfiguration engineering requirements.

· Able to read and understand aircraft designs, drawings and specifications.

· Good understanding of Part 25 regulatory and compliance requirements.

· Able to apply knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, equipment allocation/management, complex leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources.

- Create Invoice

-Receive and carefully review incoming invoices from customers to ensure accuracy in terms of amounts, due dates, and invoice details.

- Record payments received from customers promptly in the accounting system, matching them with the corresponding invoices to update the accounts receivable ledger.

7. Reporting

- Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports showing overdue invoices, collection rates, and trends in customer payments.

- Provide these reports to management and relevant departments to assist in financial decision-making and credit control.

8. Follow-up on payment and Delinquent Accounts

- Take proactive steps to follow up with the payment and on delinquent accounts, such as sending reminder letters, making phone calls, or escalating the issue internally as per the company's collection policies.

Requirement:

Duties to Be Performed:

We are looking for a Project Manager – Process Systems Specialist in the either or all of the following systems,

- Gas / Environmental / Ultra Pure Water / Chemical Systems.

The prospective candidate will be responsible for the following,

- Responsible for Concept and Detailed Design for Process Facility systems for the entire course of the project (Conceptual Design, Detailed Engineering calculations, System & Component sizing, Budgeting, Drawing development coordination from Engineering up to Construction stage e.g. PIDs / layouts / sections).

- Capable in interdisciplinary understanding and managing of relevant interfaces.

- Detailed understanding of all technical standards, drawing formats and symbols.

- Tendering process (e.g. Technical and Commercial bid evaluation).

- Check and review engineering document and drawings for accuracy and completeness for submission and shop fabrication (e.g. Submittal Procedure).

- Lead system design and reviews with customers and ensure customer sign off and approval.

- Ensure Project Director/ Manager is kept aware of the process engineering design and construction progress and any cost and schedule impacts.

Duties to Perform:

The Senior Chemical Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk chemical and high purity chemical systems for industrial facilities in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk chemicals, high-purity chemicals, slurries, and related distribution networks.

The Senior Chemical Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, pecifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender.

The Prospective Candidate will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required. The Prospective Candidate will work closely with other disciplines such as Architects, Civil, Cleanroom, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, and Construction Engineers, as well as CAD/ BIM designer in designing and delivering the project.

Requirements:

You should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

You should have sound experience in designing high-purity chemicals and distribution systems related to semiconductors manufacturing or similar facilities. You should be able to comprehend clients’ URS, and design with concept design, schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layout, the scope of work, specifications, and functional descriptions. The experience in designing Gas systems will be definite added advantage.

Your familiarity with the Semi standards and both Singapore and Malaysia standards, manufacturing tools, materials, and CAD/ BIM will be an added advantage. You should be able to make presentations to clients and engineers on design, tendering, project execution, supervising progress, and quality of work.
