SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate new business opportunities and proposes potential business deals by contacting potential customers, decision makers and target accounts. Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and evaluate options.
• Works closely with local, regional, and global teams to close new business deals with persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential key accounts/customers to do business with PS. • Uncover and build opportunity pipelines with Sales, end customers and advance through the sales stages progressively till deal closure. Ensures that data is accurately entered and managed within PS’s CRM and sales/project management system.
• Establish budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets for the SEA DC market.
• Collaborate with Sales to assess level of involvement required from distribution to ensure success of closing business and project opportunities. Provides project guidance for price and quotation strategy to distribution network.
• Identifies and support in qualification of strategic alliances to expand PS solution, products, and services; and business networking to leverage into additional markets.
• Provide front line Data Center related marketing and technical support to distribution partners and dealers, as necessary.
• Analyze sales and market data to provide relevant information to senior management for decision making.
• Promote PS in trade events and associations. Works with Marketing and Engineering to create, prepare and present technical papers and other application specific white papers for marketing collateral, trade journals and conferences.

TRAVEL

• This position requires travel up to 50%.

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation business.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Level 1 Troubleshooting and Technical Support:

Operational Coordination:

• Coordinate operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and route optimization for the AV fleet.

• Propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimally a diploma in relevant Engineering field with equivalent work experience, with a focus on mechatronics preferred
• Familiarity with Unix (Ubuntu) environment
• Good understanding of Class 4 autonomous buses equipped with SAE Level 4 autonomy, including sensor technology, control systems, and software.
• Proficiency in Level 1 troubleshooting, data collection methodologies, and coordination of maintenance activities for Class 3 and 4 vehicles and electronics equipment

In this role, you will build and lead a tiger engineering team responsible for building product and platform solutions for APAC advertising partners, helping them scale and be successful on Pinterest.

What you’ll do:

• Recruit and build Pinterest’s very first Singapore engineering team; Bootstrap a tiger team with fullstack/backend engineers and PADS, and incubate a team culture of excellence with great local talents.
• Collaborate with XFN stakeholders and US partner teams across the organization to drive ads product and platform innovations, meeting the evolving needs from advertisers and helping unlock business success.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive product engineering strategy with product partners, aligning with our most critical business goals. Lead the team to execute against the roadmap, actively identify new product/platform opportunities and ensure a great advertiser experience for advertising partners through timely support.
• Mentor engineers to develop their careers and achieve their goals, setting the technical vision, guiding the day-to-day execution, as well as fostering good team health and culture.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of engineering management experience, and/or tech lead experience in 5+ people team (3+ years)

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. At Goldman Sachs, SRE is responsible for improving the availability and reliability of some of the firm’s most critical platform services, and ensures they meet the requirements of our internal and external users. We are looking for engineers who are motivated to collaborate with our businesses to build and run sustainable production systems, which can evolve and adapt to changes in our fast-paced, global business environment.

The SRE team develops and maintains platforms and tools which help other engineering teams in Goldman Sachs to build and operate reliable and resilient systems. The platforms we offer range from central logging and tracing to monitoring and alerting and we provide tools to drive adoption and improvements to capacity planning, operational readiness assessments, production incident postmortems, SLIs / SLOs, and deployment automation including canary releases.

How You Will Fulfil Your Potential

As a developer in the SRE team, you will work with internal customers, product owners, and SREs to design, develop, and support the platforms and tools we provide to other engineering teams to enable them to run reliable large scale production systems spanning cloud and on-prem datacenters.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SRE platforms and tools
• Create and support automation solutions and build out monitoring and alerting to improve the reliability of the platforms and tools we operate
• Collaborate with other teams to onboard them onto SRE owned platforms and tools and help them implement SRE best practices
• Adhere to and drive SRE disciplines and processes across the global team

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or engineering with at least 3 years industry experience
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language, preferably in Java or Go and JavaScript / Typescript
• Excellent programming skills including debugging, testing, and optimizing code
• Strong problem solving / analytical skills
• Experience with algorithms, data structures as well as software and system design
• Experience automating operational tasks
• Comfortable with technical ownership, managing multiple stakeholders, and working as part of a global team

Preferred Experience

• Experience with distributed systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Experience with databases / data stores like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
• Proficiency in using Terraform for Infrastructure deployment and management
• Knowledge of cloud native solutions in AWS or GCP
• Systems experience in Linux and networking, especially in scaling for performance and debugging complex distributed systems
