• To monitor the progress of work against the baseline schedule & preparation of daily records & monthly site progress reports.
• Responsible for general on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Quality Control.
• Co-ordination of works with subcontractors.
• Liaise with the consultants on technical and quality issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related equivalent.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, preferable candidate with AutoCad skills
• Minimum 3 years Site Experience
• Prefer candidates with LTA Project Experience.

1. Liaise with Architects, Consultants, RTO and subcontractors regarding all interior matters. Responsible for submission of interior samples / shop drawings / catalogues & technical literature / method statements to the consultant for approval, and keeping track of all approvals, feedback / comments of the consultant for subsequent processing, as appropriate.

2. Ensures all interior queries and discrepancies are put up and resolved in writing via the issue of “Request For Information / Technical Query” and “Confirmation of Verbal Instructions”.

3. Plan, organize and co-ordinate architectural interior finishing works with nominated subcontractors/ direct subcontractors. Prepares and issues shop drawings / as-built drawings to the consultants for approval, and such approved drawings for construction. Control of drawings register. Check and co-ordinate architectural shop-drawing submission. Controls the registration and distribution of architectural construction drawings and revisions.

4. Plan and prepare weekly architectural interior work schedule, with reference to the monthly works schedule prepared by PM, to be issued to all site staff and subcontractors. Prepare weekly report on the progress of architectural interior works. Issued to all site staff and subcontractors.

5. Works closely with the structural and M&E trades for the effective interface and associated works. Participates in risk assessment and safe work procedure formulation pertaining to architectural works.

6. Recommends partial / full “STOP WORK ORDER” for critical Health, Safety & Environment failures or nonconformance that could lead to fatal / serious accident, ill health or disease
