Job Description:

• Familiarization of ASME / API Codes & Standards, DNV Rules
• Proven experience of providing solutions on NDT inspection related problems
• Responsible for company NDT management and controls
• Responsible for trouble shot problems related to NDT
• Provide internal training technical guidance to QC Inspectors
• Develop/Review/approve NDT procedures, NDT techniques complying with project/code/regulatory requirements. Review NDT procedures prepared by NDT sub-contractor as per project specification prior to submitting for client approval
• Monitor the performance of NDT personnel through system of review of qualification, competency assessment, Cross checks and reports review
• Risk assessment of NDT works and lead the risk assessment process of NDT in the yard
• Prepare and conduct Project Specific Inductions/workshops/tool/box talk about NDT requirements
• Co-ordinate with NDT contractors to develop and update their individual competency matrix
• Maintain all NDT personnel qualification records and update from time to time.
• Keep a copy of all NDT contractors’ certificates
• Review NDT operator qualification and submit for project approval
• Establish calibration and validation blocks required to demonstrate Ultrasonic Testing
• Perform Audit on NDT contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Witness & provide technical guidance on standard PAUT validations
• Provide technical support for inspection auditing activities and provide effective audit programming for companywide NDT activities
• Reviewing and commenting on standards, specifications, and enquiries

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Master Degree in NDT
• Minimum 5 years experience in fabrication environment as NDT Level III
• ASNT/PCN Level III qualification in UT/RT/MT/PT/ CSWIP (PAUT)

Job Description & Requirements

The Procurement Executive is responsible for supporting the company and its projects by providing end to end service, from understanding end-user and project requirements, to sourcing for the right item at the right specifications and budget, to ensuring smooth delivery at the right time.

He/she is critical in the smooth execution of the projects within budget.

He/she should be comfortable engaging and interacting with vendors and other external parties, to fulfill his/her responsibilities in coordinating vendor selection processes, maintaining vendor contract records and databases, and following up on vendors' deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Process purchase requests, short-list vendors, perform price & product analyses; and negotiate for the best terms and conditions.
• Raise and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
• Monitor PO progress and expedite deliveries.
• Coordinate technical clarifications and meetings between and vendors and end-users.
• Attend project meetings with engineering team.
• Obtain valid documentation of purchased goods such as product and material certificate, test report, type approval, etc.
• Liaise with shippers, forwarders and warehouse to coordinate/monitor shipments.
• Prepare monthly procurement cost reports.
• Liaise with finance department and vendors to settle PO and invoice discrepancies.
• Manage a price database of goods and services.
• Establish relationships with vendors and other industry players.
• Administer vendor pre-qualification and ongoing performance evaluation.
• Carry out procurement processes according to ethical procurement standards.
• Other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in engineering, project management, and other relevant discipline
• At least 3 years experience in purchasing, products sourcing & expediting
• Skilled in MS Office Systems
• Knowledge with SAP or any ERP is a plus
• Familiarity with Oil and Gas / Marine / Construction industries, products and vendors will be an advantage
• Team player and willing to learn
• Pleasant and good attitude
• Able to work independently and with colleagues of all levels and nationalities
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
