Job Description:

• Quantity take off and cost estimation based on technical details, drawings, and specifications
• Sourcing out of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Evaluation of supplier and subcontractor's quotations for recommendation of competitive prices
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tender and contract documents
• Preparation and submission of progress payment claims and variation orders
• Attendance of site meeting and liaise with the cost consultant
• Measure and value the work done on site
• Evaluation and certification of supplier and subcontractor's claims
• Finalization and closing out of project accounts
• Estimation of quantities, evaluation and cost comparison of sub-contractors quotations
• Reply to sales enquiry
• Prepare and follow up sales quotation
• Prepare project subcontract
• Prepare bills of quantities and other documentation
• To approve sub-contractors’ claims for job done as per site status
• To establish progress claims as per site status and obtain client agreement for billing

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in Singapore related field.
• Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Looking for meticulous, committed, proactive and creative thinker candidate.
• Possess sense of urgency.
• Good communication and presentation skill.
• Able to work independantly with minimun supervison.

Summary of the Job: (Primary function of the job)

• Lead a team of engineers, technicians and sub-contractors in

assembly, debugging and commission of SI automation projects

• Ensure work place safety, cleanliness, discipline, punctuality,

efficiency, and good workmanship.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and ensure workplace safety to be maintained at all times

• Plan deployment for projects to ensure maximum utilisation of

resource

• Lead and coordinate the setup, assembly, testing, debugging and

commissioning activity to ensure best efficiency

• Provide solutions and give guidance to the team for the technical

and non-technical issues

• Lead and ensure production floor disciplne and work punctuality

• Manage common tools, equipments and consummables

• Provide regular trainings on debugging and best practice in

workmanship

• Lead and ensure practice of 5S

• Interview, hire, train, and mentor the engineers and technicians

• Provide regular performance updates to the manager

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in engineering or related field of study

• Minimum 10 years supervisory experience in assembly and setup

in system integration for factory automation projects

• Analytical problem-solving skills with an impeccable attention to

detail

• Demonstrated strong leadership quality

• Previous experience in SI (System Integration) environment
