Business Development Manager Job brief

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

· Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

· Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the director.

Business Development Manager Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
• Proven sales track record
• Experience in customer support is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
• Proficiency in English
• Market knowledge
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport
• Time management and planning skills
• BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).

Responsibilities

- Assist in Debts Collection & follow up of overdue account

- Prepare regular & monthly credit related reports to Finance manager/ HOD

- Assist in monitoring monthly debts collection performance

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices

- Conduct aged balance review with Finance manager/ HOD to follow up review action

- To adopt collection best practices and apply relevant collections strategies to enhance effectiveness

- Recommend improvements of credit risk measures, controls and processes

- Any other duties as assigned

- Evaluating new credit request and conducting client credit checks.

- Suggest and implement terms of credit for new clients

- Negotiating payment plans and collection

- Responding client inquiries

- Liaising with customers (internal/ external) to build and foster strong relationships.

Requirement

- Diploma holder (Finance Background preferred)

- 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in credit control would be advantageous

- Service oriented and results driven

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill team player.

- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and to work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet deadlines

- Able to deal with problematic clients.

- Independent, fast learner with minimum supervision

Key Responsibilities:
1.Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback for process improvements.
3. Documentation: Document and maintain digital processes, workflows, and best practices.
4. Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate digital tools and technologies to enhance process efficiency.
5. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of digital processes, making adjustments as needed to achieve continuous improvement.

6. Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and taking minutes of meetings.

Requirements:

- Proven ability to adapt and acquire new skills quickly.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools and technologies is a plus but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Proficiency in AppsSheet and other relevant software applications is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all works related to Project Cost Consultant duties.
• Prepare cost estimation, quantity take-off and cost evaluation.
• Sourcing of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist in tender preparation and participation
• Preparation of technical details & costing for tender submission
• Coordinate with Main-Con and sub-con for progress claims, variation works and finalization of accounts
• Carry out other Contracts Administration activities.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore construction firm.
