Job Responsibilities:

• To design, select, implement, test and commissioning the data communication system for Large Scale Rail Transportation in local and oversea
• To conduct Proof of concept, factory acceptance test as well as interface system integration test prior the actual design/ on site implementation.
• To conduct system acceptance test with the customer after implementation prior handling over to the customer.
• To provide high level of system availability, access controls of network resources, technical write-out and updating of the network infrastructure for the project being implemented.
• To pro actively monitor critical system and troubleshoot if there are faults detected from the system through the use of automated tools. (Example: Alcatel Omnivista Network Monitoring tool, HP Openview NMS)
• To configure and install the layer 3 switches (Example: Cisco, Alcatel) with vlan as well as the router for the network setup.
• To liaise with vendors and suppliers for job to be accomplished as well as time schedule of delivery to meet the project timeline.
• To provide relevant documentation write up for the project network design as well as IT security design/planning and etc.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in IT or Computer Engineering related disciplines
• CCNA/ CCNP or other relevant certification will be advantageous
• 1-5 years experience in Networking, Independent, initiative and excellent working attitude
• Experience in Cisco/ Alcatel/ Extreme/Huawei network devices or other devices such as routers, switches, etc
• Experience in routing protocol such as OSPF, MPLS will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal
• Experience in IT Security design/ planning/ implementation will be an advantage.
• Well organized, proactive and self directed, able to perform with minimal supervision and also a team player.

• Oversee and lead the safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company's system on site

• Update project team on the latest MOM Safety news

• Conduct safety inspection; assess Risk Assessment, incident / accident investigation

• Conduct safety training, tool box meeting to all workers at site

• Assist with safety program implementation at workplace

• Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Manager on all safety and health issue

• Any other duties assigned by the Project / Site Manager
