Duties to Perform

The senior Gas Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The Assistant M&E Manager is responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering activities, processes, and construction of projects.

• Assist Project Manager on the preparation of planning, programming and monitoring process of M&E works and provide specific detail plan/program as per Project Manager’s instruction.
• Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress;
• Monitor job progress and ensure that M&E contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions

• Responsible for variation order cost collection, cost verification of the VO works and make necessary recommendation of VO prices.
• To check, evaluate and confirm work done and material supply quantity status for the purpose of M&E sub-contractor/NSC vendors progress payments incl. instruction of progress substantiation document preparation by sub-contractors and vendors.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by PE Board
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction industry and managed complex construction projects such as factory / warehouse / industrial etc
