Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Monitor tender platforms (e.g., Gebiz, SRM, Sesami) to identify and review targeted tenders and new opportunities.
• Manage the tender process, including downloading and reviewing tender documents, understanding specifications, and registering/attending tender briefings or site visits.
• Perform quantity take-offs, prepare the Bill of Quantities, and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate quotations from suppliers/subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and project scope.
• Compile quotations, create summary tables or spreadsheets, and present cost analysis to management.
• Prepare tender submission documents such as Scope of Requirements (SOR), Price Schedules, Technical Write-ups, Technical Data Schedules, Organization Charts, and CVs.
• Communicate with clients by raising tender queries and addressing clarification questions.
• Develop tender interviews, presentation slides, and related project documents, including quotations and letters to main contractors.
• Execute and manage main and sub-contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and building regulations.
• Administer contracts for clients, main contractors, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers, and formulate contractual responses as needed.
• Participate in discussions with clients and subcontractors, negotiate scopes and pricing, and track follow-up meetings.
• Prepare and issue contracts, monthly progress claims, and payment responses to subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with objectives and building contract law, while enhancing overall value through cost-reduction strategies.
• Prepare cost analysis, cash flow submissions, and monthly financial reports to maintain effective project oversight.
• Draft and review agreements, including Joint Venture Agreements, Consortium Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Pre-bid Agreements, and Subcontract/Supply Agreements for awarded projects.
• Support tender submissions and execute other tasks as delegated by superiors.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Engineering background preferred).
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects is highly preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical skills with a good aptitude for numbers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written English.
• 5-day work week.

• Monitor & control the usage of material, manpower and machinery used on site.
• Devise and propose construction methodologies that will improve constructability, quality and safety.
• Provide support to colleagues to ensure that they can complete the assigned work
• Provide on-the-job training to colleagues
• Manage and control manpower budget

Job requirement:

• At least 05 years of Construction Implementation experience using direct workforce
• Deep experience in industrial ACMV systems
• Experience in other utility systems is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Email
• Excellent project control and people management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

a) Works at the construction site for civil engineering works

b) Identify , liase and to disolve the techinical /construction issues with the project owner /consulatnts, various supplier or sub contractor

c) Preparation of the shop drawings , method statement , SOP of the works

d) To assist for the planing , supervising , monitoring and controlling daily works acvitites /tasks and to improve the works progess

e) To prepare the neccessary reports or related presentation

f) To propose any alternative effective and efficient construction methods or ideas for speed, quality and safe works

g) To ensure construction works are done accordingly and comply to all authorities requirements or standard

h) Ability minimun to master / operating the cad version drawings

i) Able to work indepentantly with great initiative and motivation
