• You will act as member of the business unit management team providing strategic and operational guidance to support ongoing development of the business, serve as an escalation point for individual and systemic engineering issues within the organization.

• You will guide the business in building engineering/operational capability through training, mentoring and shadowing programs, support business unit in establishing and deploying required frameworks/processes, conduct and follows-up certification process jointly with business, ensure processes are in place to capture and share best practices and operational experiences, support global business unit strategy with defining concepts for business unit-specific Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), compliance and supply chain management and developing processes and tools and conduct management review to guide operation of continuous improvement activities.
• You will ensure (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guide, motivate, coach and develop direct and indirect subordinates, within HR polices, contribute to management review of the business unit's financial, performance, along with other business unit management team members., formulate financial plans and budget estimate for the unit/business area, oversee adherence to these plan and estimate.

Your background:

• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering with a good experience in power industries and substation business.
• Master of Engineering will be added advantage.
