The Engineering TAC (ETAC) team is an exciting crossroads between Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and Engineering. Your Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience

The successful candidate for this role will engage with numerous leaders and groups across regions for both business and technology. The role will require interaction with external parties (firm’s service providers, business counterparties, and regulatory personnel).

Key success criteria include the promotion and enforcement of Engineering risk policies and information security at all levels of the organization and across all technology platforms, and the efficient and timely coordination and review of the Engineering Division’s response to regulatory and client inquiries.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide clear and concise verbal and written advice to business and technology users on (1) understanding of relevant Engineering Risk policies and standards and (2) principles of security & controls as defined by the firm’s Technology Risk and Control Framework, and (3) adoption of secure and resilient solutions
• Build and maintain an understanding of global, regional and local regulatory requirements that have a technology impact, to conduct internal self-assessments and gap analyses to ensure compliance
• Participate in global, regional and local Engineering Risk initiatives aimed at improving baseline on information protection, resiliency and controls of technology processes and services
• Work on business initiatives ensuring regulatory requirements are appropriately understood, communicated, and mitigated
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders to facilitate oversight and effectiveness of the technical control environment
• Perform risk assessments to identify gaps in compliance to information security (both application and infrastructure) and BCP standards and policies, for both internal technology solutions as well as solutions provided by third-party service providers. Ensuring critical and high priority issues are identified and resolved.

Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• 5+ years of technology experience in one or more of the following areas: Technology Infrastructure, Information Security, Technology Governance, Compliance, Control management, Operational Risk and/or Technology Audit
• Infrastructure security knowledge in Windows Server, Desktop OS and applications, Unix/Linux OS, Storage, Networking hardware and protocols, Databases and Exchange Connectivity, Remote Access, Firewall and IDS/IPS technology, Voice and Audio Visual platforms, and experience in configuration and vulnerability management is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment as it relates to technology control and/or business continuity requirements
• Familiar with Risk Analysis and Risk Management methodologies
• Excellent program and project management skills
• Understanding of the business functions and the Technology role in a financial services firm a significant advantage
• Ability to work effectively as part of the regional and global team, serving a large diverse Engineering community
• Strong analytical and communication skills required

You will form the core team of technical specialists working at the client's waste management facilities including Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) - a large-scale waste management infrastructural project, and Tuas South Incineration Plant (TSIP).

Job Scope:

· You may be part of the project team to assist the engineer and supervise IWMF construction progress.

1. To work with project consultants and key stakeholders, such as other government agencies, on the design of the various facilities in IWMF and ensure that IWMF is constructed, erected, installed in accordance with design specifications and complying with statutory requirement.
2. To participate in the testing, commissioning of mechanical, process, or electrical, instrument, control and automation equipment/systems.
3. To attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) at local and overseas factories to witness and verify quality and performance of major equipment/systems.

· You may be part of the technical team to assist the engineer in operation and maintenance of TSIP.

Your work scope includes:

a. To lead a unit of technical specialists and coordinate maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient operations of the waste-to-energy facility.

b. To implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for the facility's electrical and control equipment such as turbo-generators, motors, switchgears, low tension and high tension equipment, distributed control system and field instruments.

c. To administer contracts for the operation and maintenance of mechanical, EICA or building services equipment

d. To enforce permit-to-work system and safe work culture including supervising contractors’ work for quality and safety

e. To assist in the formulation and preparation of standard operating and safety procedures, equipment testing/changeover programme

f. To perform shift work in a waste-to-energy facility, if needed

g. To assist engineer to implement initiatives on safety and continuous improvement to enhance the safety culture and standards within the plant, as well as drive projects to achieve operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma in any Engineering course or Nitec in any Engineering course preferably with 3 - 8 years of relevant working experience.

· Fresh diploma graduates can be considered.

· Preferably with professional certification e.g. Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, Workplace Safety Health Officer.

· Good technical background and strong analytical skills. Knowledge in solid waste management would be an advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, and preferably in Navisworks and Primavera P6.

· Independent, resourceful, and a good team player.

· Good interpersonal communication.

· Able to work in waste-to-energy facilities.

· Able to perform rotating shift work over public holidays and weekend if necessary.
