JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, trade contractors or authority's officers on site survey, site arrangement & work progress.

· Possess a good understanding on client's as-built drawings and specifications for site survey.

· Handle complaints related to the projects.

· Ensure proper communication and liaising with clients on project schedule.

· Assist in preparation of claims submission as well as certification of claims to clients.

· Responsible for execution of all site works inclusive of planning, scheduling, controlling, coordination and ensure works carried out are in accordance to approved Drawing/ specification and complete within the completion date.

· Attend kick-off meeting, site meeting, site walk and brief by clients, officers & etc.

· Plan and discuss with Main-contractors and clients on project execution including implementation.

· Manage and supervise project works as well as oversee all workers and vendors to ensure proper work execution.

· Oversee and handle plan purchases, application and liaise with relevant authority

· Oversee arrangement of materials to deliver to site

· To ensure proper handover of project to client

REQUIREMENTS

· Prior experience as supervisor/Coordinator in construction Industry

· Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction industry / project site work

· Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.

· Leadership, Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills

· Profound knowledge of construction safety regulations and workflow sequence until handover.

· Knowledge on construction tools, machinery and equipment and simple maintenance

· Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

· Able to lead Project Supervisor and team of workers as well as manage client needs and timeline

· Provide solutions to onsite issues and complications

· Able to provide progress reports, operations report and forecasting plan reports and work together with Project manager

Job Description:

• Act as the main point of contact between the company and the main contractor for all steel-related drawings.
• Participate in the design process, coordinate technical aspects, and prepare specifications and plans, working closely with Project Managers, QS and Engineers to ensure the timely submission and approval of technical drawings.
• Review and verify drawings to ensure they meet all design specifications, standards, and project guidelines.
• Create shop drawings, as-built drawings and cutting list, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain organized document control systems and filing procedures.
• Take on additional duties as required to support the project's needs.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in preparing shop drawings, with strong proficiency in Tekla Structures, Autodesk Advance Steel, AutoCAD, and SketchUp software.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience (experience in structural steel detailing is a plus).

Overview

As a WSH Coordinator, you will assist the Project Manager in the daily operation of executing the company’s safety regulations and practices in the workplaces.

Responsibilities

1) Assist WSH Officer on safety and health matters.

2) Execute appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act.

3) Liaise closely with Project Managers, main contractors, contracts and authority, etc. on all safety and health issues.

4) Assist in accident / incident reporting and investigations as well as hold toolbox meetings and all WSH matters execution.

5) Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance to prevailing MOM regulations and Company Construction work policies.

6) Coordinate and maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.

7) Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.

8) Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance and inform Project Manager accordingly.

9) Attend to all feedback on safety irregularities and inform the WSH Officer accordingly.

10) Ensure all safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations.

11) Ensure all parties at work are following the safe work procedures compliance.

12) Assist Project Manager to liaise with relevant authority visiting / complain or feedback, if necessary.

Requirements

1) At least a Professional certificate / Nitec or equivalent.

2) Must possess at least an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by BCA (Level B).

3) At least 1 years of working experience in construction industry.

4) A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.

5) Able to write and speak in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese Client and workers.

6) Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

7) Physically Fit, healthy, hardworking and can work on weekends.
