About:

• Review initial budget and prepare execution budget (Execution budget shall be discussed and agreed with all stakeholders prior TCC reporting);
• Responsible for day-to-day cost control matters;
• Monitor and report all cost control matters; and bring to PCM and PM attention should there be any abnormal cost incurred/overrun;
• Forecast cost in consultant with PCM and PM;
• Verifiy vendor and/or subcontractor invoices;

b) Billing

• Forecast and monitor the project invoice and payment status;
• Responsible for invoice supporting documents compilation;
• Handle change management claim (including prepare variation order request, attend commercial meeting, monitor and update variation order register)

c) Remeasurement

• Update Bill of Quantity (BOQ);
• Conduct material take-off (MTO) submission and settlement with client;
• Verify subcontractor MTO;
• Provide material reconciliation;
• Lead and supervise the Quantity Surveyor in the same project(s);
• Appoint as Subject Matter Expert in Cost Control, Billing or Remeasurement Functions.

Guide the junior Quantity Survey under his/her subject matter.

This position is based in Batam, Indonesia.

Provision of Operation Support Services for 12 months:

- Processing of incoming jobs documents.

- Data entry in SAP

- Creation and updating of monthly reports as necessary

- Ad-hoc finance reports as and when required

- Monthly jobs closing and generating of billing advices in SAP

- Preparation and submission of billing advices to Finance

- Filing of completed job record documents, maintain proper filing system.

- Assist in submission of job documents for audits.

- Attend to walk-in and telephone enquiries in a professional manner.

- Follow up with customers on service request.

- Work closely with the operation team in daily service arrangement. Assist

Operation in daily activities.

Monday - Friday (At AMK Area)

• Oversee the entire subcontracting lifecycle, from identification of potential subcontractors to contract closeout.
• Develop and implement subcontracting strategies to support the overall project or program objectives.
• Identify potential subcontractors, vendors, or suppliers that can provide the required goods or services.
• Evaluate and assess potential subcontractors for their capabilities, financial stability, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Lead negotiations with subcontractors to establish favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and performance expectations.
• Draft, review, and finalize subcontract agreements in collaboration with legal and procurement teams.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with subcontracting activities.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential issues and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to contractual terms, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Address and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the subcontracting process.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against established cost parameters.
• Implement cost control measures to ensure that the project stays within budget.
• Prepare regular reports on subcontracting activities, including status updates, performance metrics, and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to subcontracting agreements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the subcontracting function.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, legal, project management, and finance to ensure seamless integration of subcontracting activities with overall project goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement efforts in QMS.
• Support in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/ preventive actions for process related concerns.
• Analyze and provide timely respond to customer complaints.
• Interface with Customer and Operations to ensure new product transfer to manufacturing are in accordance with approved requirements.
• Prepare Quality performance metrics and reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in Quality Management System in manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001. Knowledge of API Q1 is preferred.
• Strong command of English language, both oral & writing.
• Knowledge of metal working industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of risk assessment principles and methods.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
