Detailed Scope:

1. Manage Prefabrication Factory/Yard reporting to Project Director, overseeing prefabrication production of MEP modules and manpower planning.
2. Ensure that MEP design and construction processes are in line with the latest developments in technology and software, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM). Keep abreast of the latest technological developments and advancements in the MEP industry, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the production process.
3. Develop and implement processes and procedures that are compliant with industry standards and best practices, including those set by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and other relevant regulatory bodies. Implement Building Information Modelling (BIM) to Field technology, which involves the use of 3D modelling software and mobile devices to facilitate communication and collaboration between the design team and the production team.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest technological developments in MEP design and construction, including automation, prefabrication, and modular construction techniques.
5. Develop and implement strategies for the use of technology and digital tools, including BIM software, to improve the efficiency and accuracy of MEP design and construction processes.
6. Ensure that all MEP design and construction activities are carried out in accordance with relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
7. Collaborate with other stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall building design and construction process.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the below:

1. Engage in both business development by prospecting for new clients as well as account management by servicing and handling project sales from existing clients
2. Conduct through market research to identify potential business opportunities, new markets & industry trends
3. Develop strategy to enter new/emerging markets
4. Through recommendation/networking, reach key decision makers of new markets
5. Prepare and organise booth at industry conferences, trade shows & networking events. Even speaking on professional events to increase company visibility.
6. Maintain strong rapport with Client's Snr Management/key decision maker
7. Support Executive for final closing of order
8. Work closely with the technical team to design & tailor solutions that meet specific customer requirements
9. Ensure we have strong projects pipelines such that there is no idling of resources like manpower, yards and engineering/management capacity
10. Up sell and cross sell our services to client
11. Train and manage BD and Sales Executives

Requirements:

1. At least 10 years of B2B complex sales experience esp for industrial projects
2. Good personal network of industrial plant owners & EPC
3. Expert at networking
4. Good Negotiator and experience with sales closure
5. Excellent people skills
6. Good at entertaining clients
7. Professional and articulate

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering expertise and technical assistance for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and modification of facilities and equipment.
• Develop and implement of maintenance procedures and techniques for safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.
• Participate in production, installation, modification and maintenance.
• Ensure all process equipment, utility installations and electrical installations are maintained and running at optimum efficiency.
• Define and generate evaluation plan, executing qualification plan for alternate component replacement or cost reduction.
• Work closely with supplier and procurement team to drive cost reduction and resolve quality issues.

Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of M&E working experience with main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of M&E details, working drawings and local construction practices.

Job Description:

• Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules
• Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies
• Coordinate WSH programme initiatives
• Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams
• Report on WSHE issues to Management including preparation of data and statistics in monthly summary report
• Ensure project’s compliance with all statutory requirements at all times
• Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place

Job Requirement:

• Registered WSHO with minimum 5 years of working experience in a construction firm
• Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure
• Able to speak mandarin as required to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
• A team player and able to work with all levels

Main Job Scope

• Perform third party inspection and assist with inspection coordination

Detailed job

• Review job file prior to inspection to ensure required work scope is understood.
• Prepare equipment and documentation necessary for the inspection.
• Responsible for following detailed instruction provided.
• Check draft field report and organize report before handing over to Coordinator.
• Generate and issue final reports.
• Update on daily activities including circumstances / problems encountered during inspection · Maintenance of equipment and other apparatus used.
• Liaise with client on technical issues when necessary.
• Maintain draft report format / template.
• Maintain equipment used.
• Provide guidance to trainee or junior inspectors when on the job.
• Supervise inspection team when required.
• Assist in daily operations & coordination when required · Any other tasks as assigned by superior · Inspection includes fabrication of heavy structures, hull, piping, valves, drilling equipment, machineries, cables, E&I systems etc.
• Inspection location include shipyards, workshops, onshore and offshore installations or any other locations assigned.
