Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to customers.
• Coordinate with customers and the engineering/operations department to assess service job requirements.
• Collaborate with administrative staff for efficient engineer deployment.
• Secure and renew orders, including managing overseas delivery and logistics.
• Work closely with other sales teams to understand customer needs and provide sales and technical support.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the department head.

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Marine Industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine engines and spare parts.
• Willingness to work hands-on.
• Willingness to travel across various Asian countries for sales promotions and client meetings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide the team on quality taking offs, estimation, prepare tender submission, cost planning, sourcing of subcontractors, budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead the team on establishing a list of prequalified bidders for comparison, conduct cost analysis, negotiation and awarding of contracts to subcontractors.
• Administer indemnity/Waranty and other contractual obligations.
• Review and interpret contract documents with recommendations for contractual dispute.
• Responsible and lead the team on evaluation and preparation of monthly program claim and submit to clients.
• Responsible and lead the team on evaluation and preparation of subcontractors' claims and issuance of payment response within the stipulated timeframe (SOP Acts).
• Liaise with consultants and architects for monthly progress claim and finalization of accounts.
• Ensure proper documentation of additional works, alteration or design changes and lead the team in preparing variation orders.
• Advise and administer extension of time claim.
• Implement and review cost control measure to achieve higher profitability.
• Implement a strong document management system with proper document control, distribution of drawings, specifications and all other relevant documents.
• Develop and build good professional relationship with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, clients, consultants and architects.
• Provide guidance and supervision to team members and ensure allocation of work are being assigned equally to team members to complete the task efficiently.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum a Degree in Civil Engineering/Building Science or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years related working experiences.
• Experience in Cost Control & Contract Administration for civil/Building Engineering Projects exceeding S$50m.
• Professional knowledge in Security of Payments Acts and Construction's practices and regulations are required.
• Show independency ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize tasks.
• Proficient in MS office, good problem analytical and problem-solving skills
