• Assist in the detailed technical review of tender documents.
• Preparation of relevant technical questions during Pre-Bid Clarifications.
• Preparation of suitable technical solutions while engaging

• Preparation of necessary technical documents required for tender submission.
• Ensure all documents prepared and submitted, meet the requirements of the tender and are in accordance with company's procedures, processes and systems.
• Preparation of relevant responses and documents during Post-Bid Clarifications.
• Ensure up-to-date engineering and technical knowledge including but not limited to vessel designs, equipment and technological advancements relevant to tender submission.
• Maintain a register of technical information of past tenders.
• Support Engineering team in the design specifications for the contracted tender awards.
• Other appropriate tasks as may directed by the Tender Manager.

The position is responsible for overall engineering efficiency throughout the entire development lifecycle in the Global LIVE team. The role involves building internal frameworks, tools, and platforms to enhance the online system's applicability while expanding the business worldwide.

What you will be doing:

- Building advanced, standardized, and user-friendly frameworks, tools, and platforms to improve development efficiency in the engineering team.

- Collaborating with engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams to implement DevOps solutions to ensure compliance, scalability, and reliability of the system.

- Actively monitoring and identifying areas for efficiency improvement, working with business R&D teams and SRE, and building metrics to measure progress.

- Being able to handle complex online issue troubleshooting and guarantee SLA.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 2 years of backend development experience, proficient in at least one backend programming language, such as Go, Python, or Java.

- Familiar with common data structures and algorithms, possessing good programming habits and code style.

Job Requirement

- Diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Precision Engineering
- Sales experience in cutting tools line is most ideal, but those with industrial sales experience or engineering experience in cutting tools are welcome to apply (electrical/electronic components, chemical, related to machinery)
- Basic knowledge of computer applications: Excel (formulas & vlookup)

Job Description

You will be part of a global Asset Management CoE (Center of Excellence) team to:

• Design and implement Asset Operations Management (AOM) systems to deliver diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive insights for a variety of industrial assets, including rotating, static, and electrical equipment.
• Engage in data analysis and reliability-centered maintenance studies, applying mechanical, mathematical, and statistical analyses to synthesize IT and OT data into predictive maintenance models for our clients.
• Employ a range of predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasound analysis, motor circuit analysis, oil analysis, and infrared thermography. The objective is to pre-empt asset failure and unplanned outages, enhance maintenance strategies, reduce risks and operational costs, and prolong the lifespan of assets.
• Lead Digital Asset Management Maturity Assessments (DAMMA) sessions with clients. Collaborate with AOM Solution Architects and Data Scientists to craft AOM solutions that leverage Industry 4.0 technologies like IIoT, AI/ML, and digital twins to drive value.
• Develop and define key metrics and KPIs for asset condition, health, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, engineering, or a related discipline
• Master’s degree in computer science, data analytics or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in implementing Predictive Maintenance within an industrial context.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying anomaly detection models.
• Proficient in MATLAB, Jupyter Notebook, and Python programming
• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial systems, including IoT devices, PLCs, SCADA, DCS, Historians, and CMMS
• Deep understanding of vibration analysis with the capability to develop rules and algorithms
• Proven ability to independently drive results in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across different regions and countries
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
