JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties:

• The project will be using AI Technology.
• Project Engineer cum Inspector need to drive Van when carry out inspections of all roads and road-related facilities.
• Must have driving license.
• Report defects picked up during inspections.
• Report immediately to the Supervisor and the Project Manager any incidents or defects posing immediate concern, safety, or inconvenience to the public.
• Submit daily reports on the condition of the roads, footpaths & walkways, service roads & footways, and road-related facilities to the Authority.
• Project duration about 3 years

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in civil/ structural engineering works or other engineering equivalent.
• Able to recognize and identify defects on the roads, footpaths & walkways, service roads & footways, and road-related facilities.
• Good knowledge of repair methods for defects identified on roads and road related facilities.
• Minimum qualification --- Degree in Civil

• Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project, which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control
• Take actions to deal with the results of delay, bad weather or emergencies at construction site
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities in resolving site issues
• Effectively applies safe and economical methodology enforces project standards
• Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years' construction experience in project/site management in construction industry
• Must have working experiences in site construction management.
• Completed relevant safety courses required by MOM

• Supervise, coordinate and monitor the works of tradeworks subcontractor to meet the project schedule and ensure installation works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings
