Job Description – Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for generating sales for projects, products, and maintenance contracts within the auto irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and plumbing & sanitary sectors. You will manage the full sales cycle—from site visits and designing solutions to proposal generation, quoting, and handing over the project to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Target Achievement: You will be given a clear, realistic sales quota for both projects, product sales, and maintenance contracts. Achieving and surpassing your quota will be key to your success. The quota will be discussed transparently during the interview process and is tailored to market conditions and industry standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical sales environment.
• Proven sales experience within the auto irrigation, rainwater harvesting, or plumbing & sanitary industries. Experience in designing or engineering such systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to clients and negotiate deals effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management software. Familiarity with proposal generation and project management processes is essential.

Compensation Package:

• Base Salary: Up to $3,000 per month, based on experience. The salary will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Descriptions:

• Prepare designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required.

Requirements

• Plan and monitor architectural works from design to construction stage of design & build projects.

• Collaborate with Structural and M&E teams to provide technical directions on design and detail development. Review the architectural design from consultants and subcontractors based on contractual and project specification requirement.

• Prepare, review and monitor architectural works schedule based on the project master program. Regularly provide updates through coordination meetings.

• Operate 4-5 axis CNC Vertical Milling Machines and Horizontal Boring Machines.
• Set up machines accurately, including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces, based on engineering drawings and job specifications.

Requirements:

• Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in setting up and operating CNC milling / Turning centre.
• Understanding of tooling criteria, machining applications and process documentation.
• Min ITE Technical Certificate, preferably in Precision Metal Machining.
