This key plant leadership position is responsible for supervising and directing the engineering , maintenance and automation activities of the Singapore PepsiCo Concentrate plant. The role manages improvement, corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities and facilities as well as Site Capital Expenditure for engineering projects.

Maintenance & Automation

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment infrastructure and technical processes are effectively maintained to support the highest quality product, to deliver productivity, to comply with local regulations, and to adhere to PGCS technical, EHS and Quality standards
• Leads the Automation activities for one of the most automated site in the PGCS network
• PLC systems, SCADA, Wonderware applications, Recipe management

• Operate, monitor and maintain Treated Water, Steam Generation, Compressed Air and Chilled Water & other utilities & facilities for the site to support Production activities
• Manage the Asset Replacement Program through the Capital projects pipeline to reduce maintenance costs
• Establish spare part management strategies to optimize on-hand availability and carrying cost leveraging the SAP PM system.
• Key driver of continuous improvements within the Maintenance function and the wider plant teams.
• Support all plant related audits incl AIBI, HSA & FM Global visits.
• Ensure that the site (plant and equipment) is maintained in a safe manner and that all the relevant safety systems are in place, effective and regularly tested.

Capital Projects :

• Responsible for planning and execution of plant capital engineering projects which include preparation of project scope and business case, project approval, engineering design work, procurement, installation, commissioning, validation, Snagging & and handover to operations while ensuring compliance to company Quality , EHS , Engineering Design & regulatory requirements.
• Preparation and submission of annual Site Capital Plan for capital projects to Corporate Engineering. Provide support to other departments for identifying bottlenecks and improvement projects to meet future requirements. Ensure all identified projects are included in Annual Capital Plan.
• Develop strong business case for key site capital projects and present to Corporate Capital Expenditures Committee for approval
• Support Finance in Annual Fixed Asset Register Audit .

Quality

The Nanyang Technological University NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory is seeking to hire a Senior Research Fellow (Senior Program Manager) who will be pivotal in providing strategic financial leadership and support for all aspects of the Corporate Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate concurrent research projects together with Corp Lab director, PIs and ensuring they are completed within time and budget, and meet quality standards. Work together with project PIs, and researchers in budget and funding management to ensure the well going on project.
• Monitor research project schedule, oversee delivery of project and coordinates project activities together with Corp Lab project manager. Management and scientific contribution to the research activities to meet all project milestones / deliverables / reports / budget utilization rate.
• Financial management of research projects and ensure optimal expenditure within the allocated budget.
• Accountable for financial advisory and support, advising financially and research aspect for Principal Investigators and research staff. Responsible for projects closing, including financial reconciliation and ensuring any surplus or deficit is appropriately addressed.
• Manage procurement process, including verification and approval of expenditures.
• Prepare financial reports including monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc reports.
• Manage accounting and auditing issues, including liaising with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with statutory and university standards.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Accounting/Finance is required or a Master’s or PhD in Engineering is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in research management, preferably within a research or academic setting. Experience in managing budgets, financial reporting, and procurement is an advantage.
• Proficiency in financial management systems (e.g., Ariba) and standard accounting software. Strong analytical skills.
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve accounting and auditing issues efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to change while maintaining high performance standards.
• A good understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing financial practices in the academic and research sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and team members.

• Performs regular preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning system.

• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.

• Carries out repair works such as replacement of air con compressor, fan coil motors etc.

• Any other tasks, when required by the immediate supervisor.

• To carry out air conditioner maintenance, servicing and repair works

•Troubleshoot error code and malfunctions of air-conditioning system

•Ensure all works are carried out safely with safety procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of Aircon engineering supervisory experience
• Education not much required, But Preferred overseas experience.
• Education is not necessary. Must practically Aircon experience.
• Must able to work as a Engineer
• Willing to work on rotating shifts,
• Able to do hardworking,
• Willing to work weekend and public holiday when required.

• In charge of material takeoff, cost & estimate of all civil engineering/electrical & mechanical/landscaping projects
• Involved in tender preparation and participation
• Responsible for progress payments claims & other contractual matters
• Preparation and co-ordination of all correspondences with relevant parties and authorities
• Other adhoc duties assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Polytechnic Diploma/Degree qualifications in Civil/ Structural Engineering/Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 3 years of experience in roles as QS
• Proficient in MS office & contract administration
• Must be meticulous with positive work attitude
• Good interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of autocad 2D & 3D skills would be an added advantage
• Independent and a good team player
