· Troubleshooting electrical components & system control

· Prepare Machine I/O, flow chart, interface time chart, data allocation list, setup procedure and software code

· Documentation of machine operation manual for the project

· Liaise with the Customer, Design and Project Engineer for the software development and execution of the project

· Execute Engineering Change Notice (ECN) for change of software

· Maintain proper project documentation

· Provide training to End users and technicians.

· Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures

Job Requirements:

· Min. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Automation Control or equivalent

· Min. 5 years relevant experience in Automation project

· Experience in PLC programming & SCADA design is a must

· Knowledge of Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, SCADA (WinCC, Ignition)

· Knowledge of C++, C#, .NET is an added advantage

· Knowledge of robot programming is an added advantage

· Able to perform assigned task independently or through team activities

· Self- motivated, resourceful and organized

· Willing to travel overseas for assignments at short notice

· Good interpersonal communication skills

Summary

The SQA Manager for Value Engineering will be responsible for evaluation of value engineering efforts on current products and achieving strategic quality goals following the launch of new developments (NPIs) and existing products. Key responsibilities will include working with the team to drive business stakeholders’ priorities participating in plans to successfully support all active products in the areas of cost reduction, supply chain support, and participate in design for in-sourcing projects. with key technologies.

Key Accountabilities

• Makes day-to-day decisions and works collaboratively with direct reports and cross functional leaders to ensure Value Engineering changes do not affect product performance.
• Schedules and assigns work to staff members and contributes to the improvement of processes and procedures.
• Maintains records of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics related to product quality.
• Analyzes quality control test results and offers feedback and interpretations of those results to production, engineering, business leads and staff for all PerkinElmer products (Mass Spectroscopy, ICP OES and GC products).

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years analytical instrumentation experience.
• Statistical analysis capabilities a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; requires interaction with managers, supervisors, engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and take ownership of projects, performing job requirements with minimal oversight and attention to detail.

7) Review inter discipline drawings.

8) Knowledge of specialized software (Lighting software etc.)

9) To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that HSE in-house rules are observed at all times.

10) To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.
