Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Planning & Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling software.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of process scheme/process flow diagram/FEED and process description
• Familiar with material and heat balance calculations and thermal rating of heat exchangers
• Development of process data sheets and able to perform NPSH/hydraulic calculation and equipment and line sizing
• Participate in Hazop Study and develop the P&ID
• Prepare material selection diagram and establish requirements for any chemicals, solvents and catalyst
• Perform relief valve sizing, control valve sizing and popping philosophy
• Prepare the equipment and line list and review the various equipment and instrument data sheets

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of design experience for process system in the oil and gas, chemicals storage and process environment. Candidate with more years of relevant experiences may be consider for a lead position.
• Familiar with respective code of practices for process design and fire protection such as API, NFPA, SS532, SS634 etc.

6. Compliance:

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.

Job Description:

• Lifting supervisors appointed for tower or mobile cranes at the worksites must complete the Lifting Supervisors Safety Course conducted by an accredited training provider.
• To review and advice the lifting plan

The Engineering Manager will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team to provide high quality design and engineering knowledge and effective project management skills to support the ongoing project activities, and to provide the complete analysis and design tasks as assigned the company Management. Planning and conducting engineering projects of a complex nature in order to meet client requirements. Leading and supporting winning of new work, developing client relationships and enhancing Surbana Jurong and SMEC’s market brand.

The incumbent will role model Surbana Jurong and SMEC values, ethics and code of conduct and ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Leading and managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams that are responsible for Energy & Power projects design and/or design review;
• Ensure project delivery with highest quality and on time, in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, specifications requirements and applicable codes & standards.
• Drive the execution of engineering projects from conception to delivery, overseeing the development process, setting clear goals, and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Responsible for the development, approval and implementation of the Engineering Project Execution Plan (PEP), follow through the project execution until completion and close out.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications, construction plan etc., to ensure compliance with project requirements, regulatory requirements and prudent utility best practices.
• Manage engineering-related risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary to avoid or minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Identify, track and manage all changes in the Engineering Scope of Work, schedule and execution methodology on the project, and ensure that all changes are promptly captured through the Change Management process. Communicate any contractual scopes changes to the Management and project team accordingly.
• Ensuring that engineering teams are adequately resourced, developed and equipped to meet business needs. Overseeing planning and control process in the engineering teams, conducting regular reviews to ensure that the teams are delivering work according to the customer and company requirements.
• Supporting business development and proposal preparation works as necessary.
• To undertake other assignment from the Management from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Engineering degree from reputable university, Master degree holder will have added advantage.
• At least 20 years post graduate working experience in power generation industry with proven track record at least with power plant design, construction and consultancy works.
• Experience as Engineering Manager with GT/CCGT/thermal power plant design is a must. Candidate with other renewable energy (solar, wind, biogas, biomass, WTE etc) project experience will have added advantage.
• Competent in power plant detailed engineering and design work procedures and processes, with strong technical knowledge and expertise in power plant engineering and operation principles, standards and practices.
• Proven track record of mentoring and supervising technical staff, with strong engineering fundamentals, technical and project management skills.
• Familiar with the role of EPC engineering design, Owner’s Engineer (OE), Project Management Consultant (PMC) and other technical advisory and consultancy works.
• Conversant in API, IP, NEC, IEEE, IEC, NFPA NEMA,ASME and ANSI codes & standards.
• Registered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) with Board of Engineers Malaysia is preferred, or other professional engineering regulatory body.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a multidisciplinary engineering team.
