• Conduct investigations on accidents, dangerous occurrences & any diseases contracted at the workplace
• Prepare and submit HSE reports to the Corporate HSE Department, Project/Site Managers &/or clients
• Liaise with relevant authorities on all HSE matters as required
• Lead and implement Risk Assessment / JSA
• Lead in conducting and implementing Daily Toolbox Talk

Pre-requisites

• Registered WSHO with MOM
• Registered ECO with NEA
• Qualified FSM
• Minimum 3 years of HSE work experience in power/ industrial plant construction projects
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Willingness to work in a dynamic construction site environment
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends
• Project Location; JURONG ISLAND (Transport provided at designated pick-up points)

• Interprets specifications, drawings, plans and checks all steelwork shop drawings done by the structural detailer if in accordance to client’s construction drawing prior to submission

• Organises and directs the delivery of construction materials and establishing detailed programs and schedule of site activities

• Checks the construction drawings if feasible for erection on site and work closely with the structural detailer for any proposal if needed

• Records and monitors design changes and assess their cost impact for the project’s contract sum and coordinate with the Contract Department

• Liaises with the client’s Technical Manager for all engineering and technical matters focusing structural discipline

• Responsible for coordinating with the Project Site Engineer for any site related technical issues

• Monitors the fabrication progress and coordinate closely to Production Department to meet the required schedule and report it to the client
