The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), which is under the College of Engineering, aspires to be a leading school for Sustainable Urban Systems. Currently, it has over 50 faculty members and more than 1,500 students, and is rapidly expanding its range of educational and research activities. Its faculty has led major university-wide strategic research thrusts in space creation, water research and sustainable built environment. Applicants must have a PhD degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Specifically, the applicant must be able to teach mechanics of materials, determinate and indeterminate structural analysis, structural design in either reinforced and precast concrete, and/or steel and composite structures, and tall building structures at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and is expected to enhance the school’s exiting curriculum.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience within cyber security operations environment as well as managing incident response
• Strong knowledge on networking such as TCP/IP, switching / routing and Cybersecurity Concepts.
• Well-verse in network packet analysis using analysis tools such as wireshark and experience in various operating systems i.e. Windows, Linux, Unix
• Experience with security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti -virus software, endpoint security and vulnerability management software.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain and Adversary Tactics,Techniques and Procedures.
• Hands-on experience in Splunk SIEM or any other major SIEM Platform.
• Hands-on experience in fine tuning detection usecases and development of new use cases to improve Cyber threat detection capabilities.
• Hands-on experience of vulnerability management processes and tools.
• Experience in Malware triage and analysis capability.
• Knowledge of security standards, risk methodologies and relevant legal, financial and regulatory legislation
• Stand-by support after office hours and during weekend/public holidays.
• Hold relevant Security domain related Certifications such as Security+, CEH, OSCP, SANS GMON, GCIA, GCIH
• Good communication skills
• Programming skills, including ability to script in Python desired.

Job Description

• Co-ordination and supervision of M&E works
• Liaise with M&E Consultants
• Ascertain and make provision for all M&E and building services in collaboration with the project staff
• Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with authority requirements.
• Highlight and advise the project staff on the interfacing of M&E services and the building works
• Coordination with multiple parties not limiting to design consultants / engineers, clients’ project representatives, statutory / authority agencies etc. for the establishment of the design deliverables requirements for submission

• Able to commit 6 days work week

Responsibilities

· On-site supervision and performing troubleshooting, warranty issue, testing & commissioning, servicing jobs on both mechanical and electrical on the company’s products. Site can be in overseas, at anchorage, Off-Port Limits or shipyard, on-board vessel on voyage repair or land-based industries.

· Based on the service process, plan and perform service assignments on company installations worldwide.

· Prepare service and/or calibration report of the work activities carried out and spare parts used.

· Able to advise and recommend to the Superintendent and/or vessel crew on problem and operation of the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer specification.

· Provide technical support and deliver high quality service to satisfy the company’s customers.

· Carry out risk assessment for each service and observe safe work practice. At all times comply with regulations at work site (e.g. on-board vessels and at shipyards).

· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.

· Providing equipment training to customers and new service technicians if needed.

Requirements

· Preferably with 1 – 3 years of experience on Tank Level Gauging.

· To be able to withstand long working hours/weekends and travel on short notice including overseas trip.
