The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining infrastructure operations, monitoring performance, and resolving technical issues. They lead high-impact projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure effective use of team resources to implement infrastructure projects according to plans and budgets. They handle complex or specialized issues, often requiring new techniques and processes, and anticipate business challenges or regulatory issues, recommending improvements. The role requires on-call availability with varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The engineer applies critical and analytical skills to resolve technical problems, works well with the team, and guides them to ensure successful project implementation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Planning and Design:
  Assist with planning and designing infrastructure systems.
  Document design and planning activities and decisions.
• Support Infrastructure Operations:
  Perform installation of infrastructure systems according to design specifications.
  Align operations with service agreement standards.
• Maintain Infrastructure:
  Conduct ongoing maintenance activities.
  Implement agreed changes and maintenance routines.
• Optimize Infrastructure Performance:
  Perform tuning and optimization of hardware and software components.
  Participate in development activities and testing.
  Gather performance and data usage statistics for capacity planning and reporting.
  Pilot new tools, technologies, and processes.
• Resolve Incidents:
  Identify and resolve problems/issues.
  Simulate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
  Follow up with users to ensure problem resolution.
  Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Management and Support Services.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco Switch, Cisco Router, FortiGate Firewall, Palo Alto Firewall, ClearPass NAC, F5 VPN, IPS, WLC, Access Point, and VSS/VLAN Architectures.
• Experience in network support for wireless, wired, and VPN.
• Degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Network certifications (e.g., CCNE, CCNA).

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in Red Hat Linux, vulnerability management, and large-scale systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, effective oral communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
  Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
  Implement and maintain large-scale systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  Utilize Dynatrace and Egurkha for system monitoring and performance optimization.
• Vulnerability Management:
  Conduct vulnerability assessments using Tenable Nessus.
  Implement and manage Symantec Endpoint Protection to safeguard systems.
  Develop and execute vulnerability management strategies to mitigate risks.
• System Administration:
  Perform Linux system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  Manage systems using Red Hat Linux and other Linux distributions.
  Ensure systems are compliant with information security standards.
• Information Security:
  Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT infrastructure.
  Collaborate with the information security team to address security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work closely with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure needs.
  Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
  Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  Generate reports on system performance, security, and compliance.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Red Hat Linux, vulnerability management, and large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in monitoring and vulnerability scanning tools e.g. Dynatrace, Tenable Nessus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or related technologies.
• Experience with information security and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration and systems management.

• Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday half day 8.30am-12.30pm (on standby when required only)

• Perform servicing and maintenance on chiller
• To perform chiller overhaul – dismantle & re-assemble the major components
• Coordination with vendors and contractors, ensure all works carried out in accordance with specified quality and EHS standards
• Liaising with customers to resolve the chillers issues
• May be assigned to lead a team of technicians to fulfill jobs assigned – for engineer
• Assist or involve in schedule planning & prepare works related reports – for engineer
• Any other duties as deemed necessary from times to times

Requirement:

• ITE / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Min 2-5 years of relevant experience in Machinery overhaul
• Able to Perform servicing and maintenance on chiller
• Able to Repair and troubleshooting on chiller will be an advantage
