• Validate packaging equipment and packaging manufacturing processes to determine appropriate sourcing, purchasing, installation planning and specifications
Identify and develop operations packaging projects (e.g., cost improvements, qualify new suppliers and product transfers)
• Design and optimize packaging for moderately complex projects, including new product launches and existing products throughout all stages of product development from concept to launch, including clinical trials, global and limited market releases, as well as key operations initiatives

• Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership

What you'll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field with minimum of 10 years experience

• Good computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite; CAD experience preferred
• Good documentation, communication (e.g., written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
• Basic understanding of statistical techniques
• Previous experience working with lab/industrial equipment required
• Solid understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to Engineering

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Drafter cum Quantity Surveyor (Plumbing & Sanitary) to join our team. This individual will be responsible for preparing detailed plumbing and sanitary system designs and drafts while managing project quantities, cost estimates, and budget monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical drafting, with a specific focus on plumbing and sanitary systems, along with strong skills in quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical plumbing and sanitary system drawings using CAD software.
• Develop and review detailed plumbing and sanitary system layouts and specifications.
• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting for plumbing and sanitary works.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and associated costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure designs align with project requirements.
• Assist in reviewing contracts and tender submissions for plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Monitor and track project progress, adjusting designs or estimates as needed.
• Provide support during the construction phase, including site visits and addressing technical queries.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Proven experience (3 years) as a Mechanical Drafter with a focus on plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
• Experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and budget management for plumbing systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to plumbing and sanitary systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large-scale construction projects.
• Certification in Quantity Surveying.
• Familiarity with CAD and other technical skills required.
