Key responsibilities & duties:

• Provide support to the Dynamic Positioning business lines in the region and globally, contributing to related projects using professional experience and basic principles.
• Carry out specialist Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Attendance onboard vessels to prove / verify FMEA.
• Site supervision and coordination for project monitoring
• Take part in technical and procedural reviews and marine study reports covering marine and offshore projects as well as site attendance.
• Contribute to the continual development of the dynamic positioning business lines.
• Undertaking dynamic positioning assurance / technical projects
• Development of FMEA and test program for submission to clients
• Ensure all operations are conducted in full compliance with approved instructions, procedures, and policies.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and manage the on-premise infrastructure of our software development
and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, infrastructure management, and software development, with
a focus on on-premise environments.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage the on-premise infrastructure for software development, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
- Manage IT infrastructure hosted on-premise, including servers, storage, and networking devices
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement the necessary tools and infrastructure to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment and management of applications
- Use infrastructure as code tools like Terraform to manage infrastructure and automate provisioning of resources
- Monitor the performance and availability of the on-premise infrastructure and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Automate routine maintenance and administrative tasks such as backups, patching, and upgrades

Key Responsibilities/Duties

1. Prepare and submit tender technical write up, documents and slides in compliances with all terms, condition and requirements.

2. Coordinate all related construction matters with Subcontractor/Consultant/Client.

3. Resolve technical problems at site by developing solutions to problems with the application of engineering concepts, practices and techniques.

4. Plan and schedule work progress for construction operations.

5. Liaise with consultants, client, sub-contractors and coordinate to site activities arrangement and ensure effective teamwork.

6. Coordinate with consultants on the day-to-day inspection on site and resolve discrepancies and other detailing problems in the construction works with the consultants and superiors.

7. Assist project manager to prepare daily/weekly and monthly site reports and submit to the planning department.

8. Prepare all method statements, drawings and risk assessment for client to review.

9. Review and verify all Civil and Structural related engineering works are comply to requirement

Person Specifications:

Qualifications: Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering recognised by PE Board Singapore with relevant working experience

Experience: At least 8 years working experience in civil engineering / infrastructure projects (LTA Projects Tender experience)

Specific skills/abilities: Able to work independently and possesses good technical, problem-solving and analytical skills

Personal qualities: Excellent interpersonal communication skills and willingness to learn.

Job Description

• Lead and coordinate engineering team and production team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Lead and perform controlled tests on various feed stock types
• Lead studies on outputs by systems – i.e. quality of syngas and biochar, energy regeneration etc.
• Lead system design and optimization, and compliance with local and international regulations
• Lead and review Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP) and Hazard Identification Study (HAZID) in all system implementations
• Responsible for Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and operation manuals
• Support system installations and operations as required
• Pioneer R&D efforts
• Support other tasks as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
• Candidates with 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge in pyrolysis, syngas and biochar (good to have)
• Good knowledge on simulation using Aspen HYSYS
• Prior experience in equipment manufacturing or boiler production preferred
• Comfortable working in Tuas area
