Job Description:
- Using the ERP system to create PO & analyze stock level.
- Support internal coordination between different departments.
-Follow up & update of orders lead time to Sales & Production Team.
- Supply Chain and Cost Management
-Coordinate with local & overseas Vendors.
-Plan and manage resources to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory.
-Monitor all purchases & follow up on orders lead time closely.
-Coordinate delivery of purchased goods to office.
-Communicate with suppliers when issues arise (eg. shortage, overcharges, and defects of materials).
-Source new suppliers for materials and services, expanding the suppliers base.
-Obtain competitive quotes and drive cost-reduction.
-Lead in conducting periodic price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competency in cost for materials/services.
-Conduct supplier’s performance review to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Technical Procurement and Documentation Management
-Ability to understand Bill of Materials and Technical Drawings for procurement purposes.
-Providing correct technical information in accordance with datasheet for new item creation in ERP system.
-Proper archive of calibration certificate and software license information in our server.
Requirements:
- At least Diploma.
- At least 2 years’ experience in procurement, with electrical engineering background (knowledge/experience).
- Have strong communication, analytical & negotiation skills.
- Able to allocate resources flexibly to meet changing demands and project requirements.
- Team player, proactive, problem solving.
- Able to work independently and multitask.
