• Oversees the Building Automation System (BAS) and other systems within the BMS/BASCO/FRC room, including ensuring the smooth operation (within the acceptable limits and are run safely, effectively and economically) and timely rectification of the M&E equipment and responding to all alarms as part of the drive to achieve KPIs.
• Manage and assign Corrective Maintenance (CM) and Preventive Maintenance Work order (PM) using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to the maintenance staff accordingly.
• Lead the coordination and communication process of rectifying the faults between the maintenance staffs, vendors and contractors.
• Manage a team of technicians in attending to breakdown calls.
• Responsible to undertake maintenance program in accordance with the standards, all corporate policies and legislated regulations
• Develop working schedule / duty roster for the team.
• Ensure all building and facility systems are operational within the acceptable limits and are run safely, effectively and economically
• Responsible for conducting preventive and corrective maintenance program in accordance with the standards, all corporate policies and legislated regulations
• Liaison with OEM /system contractor for all building services & regularly solicit feedback from maintenance staff regarding fault status and feedback to users.
• Assists in Business Continuity, Emergency Operations and Exercises such as Fire Drill/Evacuation exercise, major equipment breakdowns, major power shutdown, disease outbreak and incidents where deemed to be of top priority. Activates Recall protocol for emergency situation.
• Provide feasible solution and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering function requirement
• Conduct regular inspection of existing building equipment and its serviceability status
• Review service reports and escalate any finding or action that is required
• Assist in the Development, maintenance and the regular review and test of SOP/EOP
• Advice and lead the technical investigation / troubleshooting for rectification works
• Investigate and determine root cause of faults and report
• Prepare and submit regular reports to Management and Customer, with analytical findings and propose improvements.
• Provide training to technician /technical officers, and junior staff as necessary
• Undertake any ad hoc assignment requested or delegated by the AFM/FM as required for the operational needs
• Senior Grade level would have the below additional job responsibilities & deliverables:
  Participate in Ops Meeting and ensure follow-up items for BASCO issues (campus level) are closed in a timely manner.
  - Chairs BASCO Trade meetings with NUH Customer on a regular basis and to follow-up with delegation of tasks to ISS team to ensure completeness in follow-ups.
  - Lead the planning for BASCO coverage at assigned building and on campus wide for CERT requirements
  - Overall accountable for training and uplifting the competency and familiarity of BASCO team members on-site.
  - Target to reduce 15% month-on-month of Open RM items, by proposing practical solutions for customer to implement.
  - Perform on-boarding program for any new joiners to BASCO Team at NUH ISS. This can be done on a fixed-monthly frequency including existing staff as part of the refresher training.
  - Overall visibility & control of the BASCO team & performance at site. Key target is to hold internal bi-monthly meetings and foster camaraderie and team bonding among the team. Target is to establish full contractual compliant BASCO team and achieve 95% attendance rate.
  - Oversee and report the Emergency Recovery Equipment list at a cluster level and on a predefined frequency to ensure all equipment are operational functional and readiness.
  - Overall BASCO Lead during working / Shift Hours and leads in handling any key events / incidents, while working closely with other BASCO team members across the campus for manpower deployment, cross-support or coordination works.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / FM discipline with minimum 3 years experience; or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / FM discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
• Preferably minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a facility management environment in a hospital / clean room / pharmaceutical will be preferred.
• Pro-active, ability to prioritize work and achieve desired result
• Independent, able to work with minimum supervision and have a good understanding of critical workflow
• Able to communicate and write well in English and Mandarin
• Able to work on Monday to Friday (Shift 1) 0700-1600 Hrs (Shift 2) 1100-2000 Hrs; Saturday 830am to 1230pm.

- Candidate will be required to Develop, design, program, upgrade software for Crane Safety Devise – Anti-Collision System.

- Troubleshoot & maintenance of Cloud & E-Platform for ACS.

- To provide software solution for our project specific requirements.

- Staying current with modern development practices, including continuously developing new skills as needs arise.

- Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology

- 3 years of experience in system analysis, design and programming.

- Ability to develop software in Java, C++, React or other programming languages

- Familiar with Autocad, PLC Programming & HMI Programming

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive range of technical after-sales service support, installation, commissioning and repair plus preventive maintenance plans for scientific and/or biopharmaceutical equipment;
• Provide technical consultation to customers; with a focus on the refrigeration system;
• Respond to customers’ requests by troubleshooting problems and taking corrective actions within targeted timeline;
• Prepare service reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• ITE/Higher NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant technical work experience in service/ maintenance in scientific or biopharmaceutical industry
• Possess good understanding of refrigeration systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Able to work independently and a team player;
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with good business acumen;

• Responsible for preparation and delivery of process calculations, design drawings and other documents for water, wastewater treatment, and air treatment projects.
• Aware the requirements for full compliance to local authorities
• Conduct process calculations such as treatment unit sizing, pipe or ducting pressure losses for above mentioned projects.
• Design PFD, P&ID drawings for these projects.

• Proficiency in CAD, MS office or other design softwares.  Strong analytical and problem solving, critical thinking skills.
• Experiences in ultrapure water treatment, air treatment scrubbers, and thermal oxidizers are preferred.
