Team Introduction

Video-On-Demand (VOD) is a world-leading video platform that provides multi-media storage, delivery, transcoding, and streaming services. We are building the next-generation video processing platform and the largest live-streaming network, which provides excellent experiences for billions of users around the world. Popular video products of TikTok and its affiliates are all empowered by our cutting-edge cloud technologies. Working in this team, you will have the opportunity to tackle the challenges of large-scale networks all over the world, while leveraging your expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design.

What you will be doing:

- Architect and develop efficient, highly scalable, and secure services that power all the video products within the organisation;

- Design, implement and operate our critical and scalable services, including video delivery services, upload services, and core persistence layer;

- Develop advanced intelligent video QoS data platform, and help client developers make decisions to optimise the user experience of our products;

- Design, build and maintain a global scale, multi-regional video infrastructure system.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical background involving software/system engineering, or equivalent working experience.

- Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: Go, Java, Python or C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with CDN, Multimedia or Live Streaming.

- Familiar with Unix/Linux operating systems.

Job Description & Requirements

• Preparing and manage overall master schedule integrating work breakdown structure
• Preparing schedule bar chart plan considering all in puts (manpower, equipment and materials) availability, production and construction sequences
• Developing and update resources (manpower, equipment's and materials) availability, production and construction sequences
• Inspect and monitor daily the work happening on site
• Participate all meeting (ie. Schedule review meeting, progress meeting, coordination meeting, constructability review meeting and so on)
• Record / Document weekly progress meeting held with the client, consultants and sub-contractors
• Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
• Developing contract and construction programmes and construction project plans

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering and/or relevant field
• Minimum 3 years’ of local experience in private residential and condominium projects
• Well-versed in sequence of works and authority requirement
• Proficient in planning works and material schedules
• Familiar with Ms Project is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Review engineering drawings and execute experiments, calculations, and statistical controls for new products/processes.
• Drive engineering activities to enhance manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Troubleshoot and redesign production processes for cleanroom and non-cleanroom operations.
• Support qualification and setup of new materials, recipes, and system applications.
• Identify and implement process improvements for future requirements.
• Conduct equipment and material validations (IQ, OQ, PQ methodology).
• Source suppliers, qualify specifications, and estimate costs for projects.
• Support new business projects and implement technologies.
• Train and build technical capabilities within the department.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Process Engineering.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems (e.g., CAD, ERP) and workflow simulation tools.
• Experience with statistical process control and applying ISO standards (ISO13485, GDPMS).
• Understanding of end-to-end processes in manufacturing and supply chain engineering.
• Strong project management and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and analytical.
