Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure that all engineering activities are carried out in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Ensure the delivery of high-quality designs and solutions that meet operational and safety standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead efforts to improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies within the turret engineering team. Encourage innovation and adoption of new technologies to enhance project efficiency and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in turret engineering, with a strong focus on mooring systems in the oil and gas industry. Experience with both design and installation phases of turret and mooring systems is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of turret systems, mooring analysis, and related offshore structures.
Expertise in engineering calculations, structural analysis, and design review.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., DNV, ABS, API).
Experience/familiar with engineering software tools such as Femap/Nastran, Ansys, Orcaflex, and other analysis software.
